Hello!
I am playing along with 2 challenges today!

Banner-MIX-it

Mix it up challenge over at Ellen Hutson!
And guess which company they chose for this one...
PAPER SMOOCHES!
My absolute favorite :-D

Since I am playing with my Paper Smooches goodies, I decided to enter it into Anything Goes Challenge over at Paper Smooches as well;-)

And here is my card.

I often notice things that I didn't before looking at my pictures. And looking at this picture, I noticed I have been using similar sketches... Sketches have never been my strength, I guess I need to get more creative!!

When I ripped off a sheet of watercolor paper, I liked those pieces from the spirals so I decided to leave them. After all, we use dies to get that look purposely, right ;-)
I heat embossed the stars and splatters from the Brush Stroke Christmas stamp set, then roughly watercolored around them with Midnight Muse.

I die cut that cute little triceratops in this ombre green paper from the Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm Patterned Paper Pack, and stamped the image on it. I then stamped only his head on the naturals Ivory caardstock, fussy cut the horns and adhered them on the green horns.
The sentiment is a mixture of the stamp from the Count the Stars set and the Merry and Bright Design Dies. It was actually "wishes" but as you can see, I trimmed off the "es".

I layered the same ombre green paper underneath the watercolor paper, and a little piece for the banner. I also added the Typeset Specialty DSP on my Crumb Cake base. Of course I had to sew them all together ;-)
I am pretty happy with how this card turned out, but I wish I did something different with my sketch! Next one!
