Hello, lovelies!

Today I am up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog with this fun card using 2 of the new sets!

Newton's Nook Designs Newton's Birdhouse & Cluck Sets - Naki Rager

Both the Newton's Birdhouse set and Cluck set were just released this month along with other farm animal sets and I just cannot get enough of their cuteness!

All the adorable images were watercolored and die cut using the coordinating die sets, Newton's Birdhouse and Cluck, then they were all popped on the blended background, which is supposed to be dawn ;-)

After watercoloring the birdhouse, I added some grain with a white gel pen to give it a distressed look, then I cut out the little circle in the birdhouse and tucked in this single bird inside.

While Newton is hanging out with these cute early birds, mama hen is marching through the yard with her little chicks, isn't it adorable!?

So this is what Newton is up to this month!

Hanging out with his little bird friends 💙

This adorable set is called Newton's Birdhouse 🏠

I am absolutely loving this mini stamp set!

Many men in my life like to fish so it is just perfect!

Not to mention the gorgeous font!

And moms will LOVE this beautiful little mini stamp 💙

This lovely font looks perfect with those little flowers, doesn't it!?

Okay, here is my take...;-)

First up is this card with the Newton's Birdhouse Set 💙

Oh my goodness, can you even stand all this cuteness!!?

A Sweet image + Me = No-line watercolor {LOL}

I LOVE seeing animal photos on IG and Pinterest, especially when unlikely ones are such close friends like this kitty and his birdie friends 💙 The sentiment also discribes the image perfectly, don't you agree!?

I know, the new Fence Die and the Land Borders Die Set just go together like cookies and milk!

It's just so much fun to build a nice outdoor scene!

I colored this kitty just like one of my boys Nebka💙 The background was blended with Distress Oxide Ink to create anther sunrise (it could be sunset but birds are usually up early in the morning, right!?). I splattered copper ink all over the panel, and turquise ink over the blue sky, isn't it pretty!?

Newton's Nook Designs Father's Day Set - Naki Rager

I have to say, this is one of my favorite cards I've made 😁

I sponged the whole panel with Vintage Photo Distress Oxside Ink first, then used the new Hardwood Stencil and Wallnut Stain Disress Oxide Ink to add the woodgrain details then splattered some water. Both sides of the panel were sanded to give a bit of distressed look, too. I LOVE how it turned out! 💙

The amazing image was heat embossed on this vellum banner and colored with colored pencils.

I tried and tried and tried to sew it onto the wooden panel but my sewing machine was being a little brat and kept getting jammed! So after poking so many holes, I gave up and used the mini stapler instead {LOL}

A litle jude twine bow and a few clear droplets finish up this fun card ;-)

Oh, and that little Lego fishing Alex? I couldn't think of anything releated to fishing in the house other than him so I borrowed him from my oldest's collection {LOL} Not much of a prop but I thought it was kind of funny and cute 😝

Newton's Nook Designs Mother's Day Set - Naki Rager

Last but not least!

Pretty flowers for your pretty mama 💙

I'm sorry it is hard to see, but it was my very first time using the watercolor pencils and MAN! It is completely different from regular watercolor! I didn't realize how light it was til I saw my photos...

Anyway! I heat embossed the image on watercolor paper and die cut it using one of the square dies from the Frames Squared Die Set (released last month!) but made a rectangle with it. I applied Nuvo Crystal Drops to the greens, flower centers, and little tulips.

This pretty little image needed a frame, and I created one with these pretty die-cut flowers using the Flower Trio Die Set 💛 Everything was popped on the vellum (actually has small white flowers all over but my photography skills didn't capture it 😭) with foam tape. I applied some Nuvo Crystal Drops to the circle pieces, just love the shine and puffiness!

Hello, my crafty friends!

Today is day 3 and we have another adorable set that'll make you say, I can't take any mooooore cuteness!!!

These moo-moos are so cute, I bet you're over the mooooon 🌕 now! {LOL}

Sorry but I just couldn't help myself...😝

And I thought CAS would make this more fun!

So the fun sentiment was stamped and die cut using one of the Speech Bubble Die Set, the little heart comes with them, too 💗 Some Nuvo Crystal Drop was applied to the heart to make it look like an enamel dot ;-) I also added a little bit of texture using the new Hardwood Stencil and embossing paste.

My second card with the Moo Set is another CAS ;-)
I am really, really loving this cute sentiment "COW are you?" 😆💕
Not to mention this super duper adorable moo lady, she is so stinkin' cute💙

My darling moo lady was watercolored and die cut using the coordinating die, then she was mounted on the simple background. I die cut the fence using the new Fence Die, but I only used the top half to make this shorter fance. The grass piece was die cut using the Land Borders Die Set and glued right on the bottom of the fence. Then I just added a few sequins and done!

Hello, lovelies!

Welcome to the Newton's Nook Designs April Release!

On day 2 of the reveal, we are showcasing another adorable set ;-)

Today we have this new adorable chicken set called "Cluck".
I'm really loving the cute name for such a cute stamp set 💙
Alright, here's what I came up with...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Cluck Set - Naki Rager

Cock-a-doodle-doooo 🐓
This handsome rooster is up with the sun to let you know it is morning!!!
I had SO MUCH FUN creating this fun card 💛

My rooster was watercolored and die cut using the coordinating die first. When I was trying to position him on the fence, which was die cut using the new Fence Die (revealed yesterday), I had to fussy cut the bottom of the image, but you know, that never looks right so I ended up fussy cutting the whole image, AND had to chop off one of his legs! (SORRY!!!)

I am a HUGE fan of the British claymation show Shaun The Sheep by Aardman, and the combination of the rooster and fence was totally the opening of the show! So I pulled out the Sunscape Stencil to create this sunrise scene. The fence was popped on with foam tape and the grass border was die cut using the Land Borders Die Set then mounted in front of the fence. Isn't this so much fun!!?

Oh, here's what the rooster was talking about...Chicken Butt! {LOL}
I simply stamped this hen and sentiment on the inside of the card, fun!

My second card is CAS but still fun!
I said this yesterday, too, but I just love Jen's cute sentiments that come with her cute critters 💙
So, I thought it would be really fun to use multiple on one card, and using the new Speech Bubble Die Set was the perfect way to do so! Now see why I was SO excited to see this fabulous die set! 😍

This adorable hen with her backside shown (I told you I like animal butts! LOL) was stamped directly on the base card and colored with colored pencils. I also added a little bit of grass using the colored pencils. The sky was sponged then the speech bubbles were popped on and done 😉

If you or your friends/family love cute puns (I DO!), something like this card would definitely put a smile on their faces!

The Fence Die is a must-have for those who love to build scenery cards!

I was very very very excited to see the Speech Bubble Die Set 💙

I absolutely LOVE to use speech bubbles, it is such a fun way to add your sentiments!

And then, we have another new stencil💛

This one is called Hardwood, I LOVE it 😍

Okay, here are my cards...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Oink Set - Naki Rager

There is a special spot for pigs in my heart 💙

My hubby and I had a pot bellied pig named Memphys.

So you can imagine my reaction when I first saw this set!

Is it just me, or do you like animals' butts as much as I do!? {LOL}

Piggie butts are absolutely adorable, so this image immediately drew my attention!

It's so cute that I stamped 3 of them💛 I even gave them a heart on their already cute butts😝

Jen always creates adorable sentiments to go with her adorable critters and this one was no different! After trying several options, heat embossing a bunch of Squeals in a big speech bubble seemed juuuust right!

So these cute piglets are mounted on wobblers!

(I am going to post my little video on IG 😉)

When it comes to making interactive cards, I apparently like to make it more complicated than it really is, and I just wanted to show you how I did this one... I cut slits to slide the wobblers in, and made circle opening for the springs. (It took me waaay too long...GEEZ!!!)

Before making all those cuts for the wobblers, I sponged the panel with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink to create the sky. On another piece, I sponged Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress oxide Ink then die cut it using the Land Borders Die Set to create the grass, which was popped on with foam tape to cover up the slits.

My second card is nothing complicated {LOL}

This adorable piglet made this pretty pink cake for someone special to wish them a "Hap-PIG" birthday! How stinkin' cute is that!!? 💛 My oinker was stamped and watercolored on watercolor paper then die cut using the coordinating die set. The sentiment was heat embossed with copper EP on vellum then die cut using the Speech Bubble Die. I added some shimmer to the candles and plate with red gold starry watercolor to kind of match the copper EP and star sequins. Also some Nuvo Crystal Drops to the flames.
