Hi there!
I am making a quick stop to show you the card I made for Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! There are 25 fabulous sponsors participating with their lovely coffee cards!
I wasn't going to play because I don't have anything coffee and it's closing tonight (I just found this 2 nights ago), but this morning, this design just popped in my head...
I'm very sorry about the dark photos, it's been so gray and rainy all day!
And I am having a garage sale tomorrow...ugh...
Those coffee stains are real coffee. I said to myself, why not? So I poured some coffee on a little bowl and dipped the bottom of my cup right in it, and just set it down on the watercolor paper. Then I dipped my finger in the coffee and and splashed it all over!
I felt like I was making a ransom note when I was adhering those faux labels...LOL Obviously I had to provide my own sentiment since I had no coffee related stamps. Since I'm a coffee addict, I came up with "coffee is my drug", but instead, I used that cute little prescription bottle!
Of course I need a cute little nurse to take care of me, and she brought me a cup of coffee with her:-) That tiny mug is from A Fitting Occasions, which I had to dig out of my sale box for this weekend! LOL
My notes...
Stamp: Alphabet Rotary Stamp, A Fitting Occasions (Retired), Get Well (Lawn Fawn)
Paper: Early Espresso, Watercolor Paper, Christmas DSP Stack (sorry, I have no idea what the name of that pack is... it is from the holiday catalog from a couple of years ago?)
Ink: Smokey Slate, So Saffron, Pool Party, Real Red, Versamark
Tool: Die-namics Blueprint #15 (My Favorite Things)
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
