Hello, lovelies!

Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs August Release Week!

Today is already the final day of the reveal and we have 2 fun sets!

Who's ready for HOWL-oween!!?

Okay, as much as I love Halloween, I'm not quite ready for it yet! {LOL}

But this adorable Happy Howl-oween Stamp set along with the coordinating die set certainly make me look forward to it! ;-)

Ahh! Here's Newton!

He is dressed up as a witch and hiding in a witch's boot!

The Witchy Newton Set is a must-have for this year's Halloween!

Oh.My.Ghostness.!!! 👻

The new Ghosts Stencil couldn't get any more spooky and fun!!!

Alright, here is my take...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Happy Howl-oween Set - Naki Rager

Okay, I REALLY LOVE how this card turned out!!!
Halloween is always fun, but what can I say when you have such adorable pups with fun spooky background!!?

These cute trick-or-treaters were watercolored and die cut using the coordinating die.

I colored the pumpkin costume purple instead of the traditional orange just because...;-)

This fun background was really fun to make!

I used the new Ghosts Stencil and Ranger Multi Medium Matte first and when my ghosts were dry, I blended several purple Distress Oxide Inks over them then wiped the excess ink on the ghosts. I added a little bit of orange Distress Oxide ink on the bottom of the panel.

The adorable sentiment was heat embossed with orange EP on this vellum speech bubble, which was die cut using the Speech Bubbles Die Set.

Here's another fun Halloween card with brighter colors ;-)

This little kitty in a funky witch's boot is so fun!!!

This adorable image was colored with Copic. I thought it might be extra fun to play with all these different patterns on the boot and I just LOVE it!!!

I mounted this dark blue vellum crooked and trimmed off the excess, then added this fun yellow and black polka dots washi tape. it's picking up the yellow and polka dots from the image ;-) The sentiment was stamped right on the base then I added some stars using the Cascading Stars Stencil to repeat the yellow.

Hello, lovelies!

Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs August Release Week!

Today is day 3 and we're showcasing this adorable Autumn Mice Stamp Set along with the coordinating die set ;-)

EEEEEEEEEEEK!!!

I just LOVE Jen's adorable mice!!!

Isn't this adorable!!? (If I say so myself...LOL)

This little mouse is so cute chasing some autumn leaves, isn't he!!?

He was watercolored and die cut using the coordinating die then popped on with foam tape.

I absolutely love this adorable sentiment!

Well, okay, I love all of Jen's adorable sentiments {LOL}

I heat embossed this one with light blue EP, I love the cool, light blue against warm fall colors.

It is a bit hard to see so maybe I should have used a darker blue on this one though!

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE the NND Stencil line!!?
The Falling Leaves Stencil was just so perfect to create this fun and quick background!
I used Scattered Straw Distress Oxide on the whole panel, then blended with Tattered Rose to create the peachy color, and blended with Shabby Shutters to create the green on the bottom part of the panel.
Some copper ink was splattered all over the panel, then the gold vellum grass that was die cut using the Land Borders Die Set was placed for my little mouse to run on ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs August Release Day 2

Hello, lovelies!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs August Release Week!
Today is day 2 of the reveal and we have this gorgeous Fall Fringe Stamp Set!

The Fall Fringe Stamp Set is a new addition to Jen's Full Card Front Line and I certainly love these beautiful square stamps!

Okay, here is my take...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Fall Fringe Set - Naki Rager

You probably thought this card doesn't look very special or unique, didn't you?

Well, take a closer look at it ;-)

I heat embossed the image with copper EP on watercolor paper and colored in with the shimmery watercolor.

I wish my photography skills were better to capture how beautiful and shimmery they really look! All these rich, warm, shimmery colors make this already-gorgeous-image, well, gorgeous! ;-) Plus, maybe you don't really like to color in images, but using the shimmery watercolor, I didn't worry about fancy shading and stuff, it is definitely easier to color!

I trimmed down the square image to where the square frame lines are, then mounted on a copper foil sheet also trimmed to the square to give a wider frame. I chose this dusty blue cardstock for my base to really make the copper pop! I decided not to add any embellishments so that I could really savor all the shimmer and shine!

Newton's Nook Designs August Release Day 1

Hello, lovelies!

Welcome to the Newton's Nook Designs August Release Week!

I hope you're enjoying the summer, can you believe it's almost over!!?

Today is the first day of the reveal and we're showcasing this oh-so-pretty Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set along with the coordinating die set!

We're adding another fabulous set to Jen's pretty lady line this month!
This one is called Pumpkin Latte, how pretty is she!!?
Let's take a look at what I created...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Pumpkin Latte Set - Naki Rager

I love summer, summer is filled with fun and tons of sunbeams make me so happy!

But autumn is such a beautiful season and I do love the rich, warm fall colors ;-)

So that's my color scheme for today's card!

I stamped this image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in with Copic markers.

This slightly dusty blue with red-brown hair is pretty vibrant and bold compared to my usual style, but I think she looks absolutely fabulous and is making me look forward to the fall!

I pulled out the Pumpkin Patch Stencil and blended pink/red Distress Oxide Ink to create this warm background. I splattered copper ink all over the pumpkins, added the skinny strip of a copper foil sheet, and heat embossed this cute sentiment with copper EP ;-) I love metallic, and I LOVE metallic copper! It's shiny but still warm, such a perfect accent color for fall cards ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs August Release Day 4

Hello, lovelies!

It's already the final day of the Newton's Nook Designs August Release!

All the new products will be available for purchase tomorrow Friday the 17th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop! On the last day, we're revealing 3 fabulous stamp sets along with their coordinating die sets!

How stinkin' cute is this!?

I could hardly wait to color this fun image!!!

I simply ADORE these new mini sets and look at this super cute set!!!

The sentiment had me giggle, too 😆💛

Boo Hoo!?

Are you kidding me!?

What a fun and adorable mini set this is 💜💛💚

Alright, here is my take...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Boo Hoo Set - Naki Rager

First up is this adorable pair from the Boo Hoo Set.

Again, I was my-unusual-self for this release and used these pretty "bold" colors with these small images. Not only that, NO COLORING! I wanted to have fun with funky patterned paper!

But I still kept some "Me-ness" by heat embossing this cute little ghost on vellum ;-) I used the same technique with these adorable little sentiments also to repeat the same look. I used the Xyron Sticker Maker to add adhesive, that mighty little machine is absolutely fabulous with adding adhesive to vellum!

This adorable owl is kind of responsible for all these different looks, actually. As soon as I saw him, I HAD TO paper piece using patterned paper! I chose this one with small patterns in purple and yellow, then added his eyes and tummy in purple, and his beak in yellow. I LOVE how he turned out!

My little wise bird is sitting on this black and white striped branch, which I borrowed from the What A Hoot Die Set ;-) I die cut a circle from this fun yellow with tiny stars paper as the moon ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Candy Corn Set - Naki Rager

Next up is this adorable candy corn card ;-)

As you can see, I used the candy corn colors, it's such a sweet and warm color combo, it seemed perfect!

I die cut these cute little candy guys from off-white, yellow, and orange cardstock and paper pieced them and stamped their little smiley faces on them. Are they not the cutest little smiley candies ever!?

This super fun sentiment was heat embossed with copper EP on the front panel. I used the Fossilized Amber and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Inks to blend on watercolor paper and splattered some water and white ink all over. Yellow twine and a few copper star sequins finish up this super simple card ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Halloween Trio Set - Naki Rager

And last but not least is this spooky cute card with the Halloween Trio Set!

I did the painted scenery background again, it was just screaming for it!!! {LOL}

I stamped this ADORABLE trio on my watercolor paper then had so much fun coloring!!!

I had this simple design of them standing in front of the big, creepy blue moon as soon as I saw this image!

(YES! it's the moon, not an earth!!! I guess I felt pretty ambitious but my watercolor skills weren't as good as I thought they were...LOL) Some grass and creepy purple sky were colored in around my MOON then I splattered a lot of copper ink all over!

I am totally addicted to sentiment dies so when Jen adds bonus sentiment dies to coordinating die sets, you have no idea how happy that makes! And this one comes with "Trick or treat" AND little bats! I did separate the words by snipping them apart so I could hug the moon with them.
