Newton's Nook Designs November Release Day 2

Hello, lovelies!

Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs November Release!

All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 24th, PLUS there will be black Friday sale as well in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop! I know!!!

Today is day 3 and we're revealing this adorable stamp set Winter Woofs along with the coordinating die set ;-)

I was so excited to see the husky image! 

That corgi on a sleigh is super fun too, isn't it!?

Here are my takes...;-)

Huskies are such a beautiful breed, they've always been one of my favorites!

So naturally, I picked this adorable pup for my first card ;-) 

I stamped the image with light gray on watercolor paper, which was die cut with the Frames and Flags Die Set first. After watercoloring the image, I heat embossed a few snowflakes with silver to match the sparkly silver watercolor I used on the snow. The sentiment was also heat embossed with silver on vellum then die cut with one of the new flag dies. I popped it on with clear 3D tape then added hemp twine and a wooden snowflake. 

My second card is with this adorable corgi 💙

And how could I have resisted a slider with him!

He was stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper, watercolored, and die cut with the coordinating die. I like to color the white outline with the same colors as the background, in this case, blue and silver ;-) I then simply cut the white glimmer paper angled to match the slider so this pup can have fun sliding down the hill ;-) 

"Oh what fun!" and some snowflakes are the perfect finishing touches to this simple designed card ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs November Release Day 1

Hello, lovelies!

Welcome to the Newton's Nook Designs November Release!

Today is day 1 and well, I'll let you scroll down to see what we're revealing today...;-)

EEEEEEK!!!

This new set is called Frozen Fellowship. 

Aren't these snowmen simply adorable!!?

I love the sentiments with this image 💙

This stamp set is called Cup of Cocoa along with the coordinating die set. 

Not only hot cocoa sounds yummy for your tummy, these cute mugs are yummy for your eyes, too!

Are you so very happy to see this big tag die!? 

It comes with all these different edges to customize as well, how fun is that!?

Hence the name Fancy Edges Tag Die Set ;-)

The whole design team flipped out when we saw this new Frames & Flags Die Set! {LOL} Frames and flags add so much fun to your designs so easily, who doesn't love them!?

Alright, here are my takes...;-)

So this super adorable stamp is one big piece, and look how it perfectly fits inside of the scallop frame! They were just meant to be...;-) {giggle}

I used my Fiskars Stamp Press to stamp it with light gray ink on Artist Marker Paper. I colored all these fun hats and scarves and vests with my new toy, chameleon markers, then fussy cut it. Doesn't this big, adorable image really pop this way!!?

I really love these sentiments, I very much value individuality ;-)

When we say "normal", what exactly does that mean? because we are all different, and that is exactly what makes us US, even when we're in a group like these guys ;-)

I actually came up with this design first, but I just HAD TO color them before I made this one! {LOL} The basic design is the same as my first card, all the snowmen inside the scallop frame, it's just too perfect to resist the look! ;-)

I heat embossed the image with clear embossing powder on kraft cardstock, I love the tone-on-tone look! I only colored one of the snowmen with colored pencils and placed the other sentiment from the set right below him. This is a pretty quick card but it gets the message out clearly, doesn't it!? ;-)

On to the next card, with the Cup of Cocoa set ;-)
I thought, what better way to showcase these adorable small images and the new Fancy Edges Tag Dies than making a bunch of tags!? ;-)

So I wanted to try out all the edges (just because...lol) and thought I should showcase one without using any edges first. This image was heat embossed with tan embossing powder on watercolor paper. I popped on this polka dot mug with cinnamon sticks and a chocolate bar in whipped cream (YUM!!!) on this basic one because they're both squares (ish).

Isn't this one just too adorable with Newton on it!? {Hee Hee}
I heat embossed this one with white, colored it with very very lightly with light blue and gray. For the little embellishment, I also used light blue and white sequins. 

This one is my favorite 💙
I heat embossed this one with tan embossing powder, colored the mug with pink and gold, and the whipped cream with light tan color. Those copper star sequins look more rose gold so I thought they looked cute with this image ;-)

This one is so sweet 💙
I heat embossed this one with white embossing powder, colored the cup and saucer with light aqua color and the spoon with gold. 
I added rose gold sequins to match the pink heart ;-)

I thought the snowflake on the mug was perfect for this banner edge ;-)
The image was heat embossed with white and colored with mint. The yummy whipped cream was colored with white gold, and tiny clear sequins were added to match the sparkle ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs

Hello, lovelies!
I am up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog with a little Thanksgiving project today ;-)

Now that Halloween is over, it's all about Thanksgiving!
I give my mother-in-law and her sister a little something as thanks every year (and because they cook the meal and I don't! LOL), I usually make little tags to go with ;-)
I used 3 NND stamp sets, and the beautiful sentiment that was heat embossed with copper embossing powder is from the Shades of Autumn set.

These mischievous raccoons from the Raccoon Rascals set are just perfect for my big family! (I have 4 kids.) I stamped this trio of cuties with Memento Black Ink and colored with my new toy, Chameleon Markers! I colored them as they're wearing masks, and I also gave them little feathers that I borrowed from the Adventure Awaits set in the matching colors. They're totally in a Thanksgiving spirit already! 

This sentiment is also from the Raccoon Rascals set. It was heat embossed with copper embossing powder on yellow vellum, and die cut with the Tags Times Two die. It was added to the hemp twine, which is tying the green, orange, and yellow ribbons, they match the raccoons' masks and feathers ;-)

Frantic Stamper November Release - Love and Music

Hello, lovelies!
I am here today with my first card with the November Release from Frantic Stamper ;-)

This new release is about Love and Music, how fun!

I absolutely love this elegant ballerina 💖
I die cut the Music Ribbon Die (10294) from light gray cardstock and adhered on my front panel, which I had a slider out. I die cut the Ballerina En Pointe (10299) from pale pink cardstock and she was placed in the slider with foam tape so she can dance on the music ribbon ;-)

I die cut one of the sentiments from the Dance Rock Sing die set (10355) from white cardstock and light gray cardstock and placed them above the slider. As my ballerina dances across the card, you can see them all one by one ;-)

25 Days of Christmas Tags

I am so very excited to be joining this wonderful blog hop { 25 Days of Christmas Tags } by Tracey McNeely (click HERE to check out her fabulous blog!) as a Newton's Nook Designs Design Team member today! Jen is sponsoring this fun event along with many other companies, and they all have fabulous prizes! So make sure you head over to Tracey's blog and read the rules to participate!

Here is my take...;-)

I used a few NND products to create these small but fun tags ;-)

I die cut the bigger tags with the Tags Times Two Die Set from the plastic bag that stamp/die sets come in (I can't throw them out! LOL), sewed it together except the top, poured in this mixture of gold, silver, and clear confetti, copper star sequins, and a few snowflakes, which were die cut with the Snow Globe Shaker Die Set from shimmery white cardstock. 

I also die cut the round tag with the Tags Times Two Die Set from kraft cardstock.

On this one, I stamped this cute little reindeer from the Snow Globe Scenes set with brown ink, quickly colored with colored pencils, and added a little bit of metallic copper Nuvo crystal Drop on his nose ;-)

On second one, I stamped this adorable snowman also from the Snow Globe Scenes set, colored with colored pencils, and added light blue Nuvo crystal drop on his buttons ;-)

On third one, I stamped this adorable mouse from the Santa Paws Newton set, colored with colored pencils, and glossy white Nuvo crystal drop on his pom pom ;-) I added a copper star sequin on each tag, and this little cutie is making a wish upon it. Maybe it is the same star as the reindeer and snowman see...;-)

A snippet of linen twine along with a few snippets of copper thread were fed through the holes to keep both tags together on each set. I also die cut the sentiment from the Snow Globe Shaker Die Set from copper foil sheet and stapled them on my clear tags ;-)
