Naki and Nina's Double Dare Challenge #3

Friday, August 31, 2012

Hi there! Welcome to another Naki & Nina's Double Dare Challenge!

This week's picks were very fun to play with!

                     Butterflies                   Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP
                    (Stamps or punches or dies)

Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP ( just LOVE the name!!) is my absolute favorite! Each design is so elegant and chic, but very fun! So on this card, I went for an elegant look with an edgy and modern twist:-) The black butterfly was embossed with the Spider Web Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The big Tangerine Tango butterfly was heat embossed with the Tangerine Tango Emboss Powder on the Basic Black Card Stock for a different texture. I love the shiny orange on the black, so chic! I also embossed the base card with the Designer Frames Folder to make it look like a piece of art came to a life.

I kept it simple but added a lot of details, and I am very happy with this card:-)
