Pals Paper Art Challenge

Thursday, November 12, 2015

Hi there!
Today I am playing along with the Pals Paper Art Challenge!

Well, isn't this a beautiful fall color combo!?
Here is my take...

Even though you're not required to use Stampin' Up! products to play this challenge, I feel like I should only use SU since I am one of the pretty pals (SU demo group). So this card is all SU! I've been playing with more non SU products this year, so this was refreshing!

I needed a thank you card, and I just got this Thankful Forest Friends set, perfect!
I heat embossed that beautiful sentiment on my water colored background. Well, it was off centered! *Ooops!* So I added that pretty vine on the left, and a little branch on the right side of the sentiment to balance.

I die cut those stems in Tangelo Twist and Hello Honey cardstocks, then adhered them on top of the gold thread. I thought about brushing the clear glitter over them, but I wasn't sure...

Just added a little gold bow and done!
This was pretty quick to make, and I love how it turned out!

My notes...

Stamp: Thankful Forest Friends
Paper: Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss, Watercolor Paper
Ink: Versamark
Accessory: 1/8" Gold Ribbon, Metallic Gold Thread
Tool: Heat Tool, Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, Bouquet Bigz Die, Sewing Machine

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
