Hello lovelies, Happy Wednesday!
Wow, it is already February! Where did January go!!?
Today I am up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog!

I'm sure I say this every time I have to make a sympathy card, but it's not favorite...lol You probably agree, right? Well, this is life, life and death exit together and keeps the balance.

I love the adorable and whimsical critters from NND, but they had to sit out for this one! But no worries, NND also has plenty of pretty images that is appropriate for a sympathy card. Here I used these beautiful poppies from the Flower Gardens set. It was heat embossed in white on watercolor paper and water colored with, well, poppy! {LOL} Stems were colored with mint, and blue for shadow.

This big, bold sentiment was die cut from black cardstock and adhered right on the watercolored panel. I did sew a piece of pleated crepe paper {AKA paper streamer} first to give a little bit of texture. Of course I had to sprinkle some clear sequins too, I used tiny 3mm ones, so cute!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
