Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release Day 3

Wednesday, October 18, 2017

Hello, my lovelies!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release!
All the new goodies will be available for purchase this Friday the 20th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
Today is day 3, and we're revealing 2 more fabulous sets ;-)

Can I just say, fabulouuuus!!!

Of course, the coordinating die set ;-)
It can also be stand-alone die, it's like buy 1 get 1 free!!!

Who doesn't love Santa's reindeers!?
This is so fu! not to mention all the different fonts Jen used!
Absolutely amazing!

Okay, here are my cards...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Stylish Stockings Set - Naki Rager

Houndstooth stockings!? Now how fabulous is that!!?
The background was sponged with blue and gray then splattered some water, you know, my usual style ;-)

The stockings were heat embossed with light gray on white cardstock and die cut. The topper, heel, and toes were die cut from kraft cardstock. I tied linen twine on pairs of pom poms and popped them on with glue dots. And I die cut the branch from Core'dination gray cardstock with the What A Hoot die set then sanded it a little. I "hang" my stocking on the branch with foam tape.

I made another card with the Stylish Stockings set ;-)
I thought the fuzzy felt and sparkly glimmer would make an interesting texture combo!

So I had to die cut one from felt, so fuzzy and cozy!
Rather than adhering the topper, heel, and toes with glue, I stitched them on with gold thread. A red twine adds a splash of color and a little bell adds so much fun ;-)

This background was made with the Sentiments of the Season stamp set and the Snowfall Stencil that were revealed earlier this week. I stamped a bunch of sentiments with Antique Linen Distress oxide ink, and used the Nuvo Glimmer Paste and the Snowfall Stencil to add these beautiful sparkly snowflakes all over the panel ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Reindeer Roll Call Set - Naki Rager

Well, apparently, I am loving white embossing powder for these holiday cards if you haven't noticed...{LOL} It's so pretty against my blue background anyway, isn't it!? ;-)

Can you picture the super sparkly glitter mess I was in!? {LOL} It was totally worth it though, look at my silver reindeer prancing across the card!

I'm not ready for Christmas yet, I need to enjoy Halloween first!
But when I was making this card, all I could hear was the reindeer song from the classic Rudolph movie! {giggle}
