Ho Ho Ho 🎅 Hi, lovelies!
Welcome to the Newton's Nook Designs Deck The Halls with Inky Paws Blog Hop today! Have you been enjoying our super talented, fabulous guests over at the Newton's Nook Designs Blog this week!? Well, they're hopping with the DT today so make sure you visit their lovely blogs!
How about Christmas under the sea with a pretty mermaid!?
For this card today, I used the Mermaid Crossing stamp set, Tranquil Tides stamp set, Sentiments Of The Season stamp set, and the Waves Stencil.
Here is my beautiful mermaid putting up the star on the coral tree ;-)
She was heat embossed with glow-in-the-dark embossing powder on watercolor paper, colored, and fussy cut. Scroll down to see her glow in the dark!
WHOA!!! Isn't it fun!?
I applied blue glow-in-the-dark Nuvo crystal drop to her star also ;-)
I created the background with Ranger Distress Oxide Ink. I then stamped the shell image from the Tranquil Tides stamp set with the iced spruce distress oxide ink twice to create the live rock on the right corner, heat embossed the cluster of dots with calypso coral embossing powder on the rock. The sentiment from the Sentiments Of The Season stamp set was also heat embossed with calypso coral embossing powder on vellum and fussy cut.
I made this cute and quick tag with the brand new Peppermint die along with a couple other NND die sets ;-)
I die cut a few mints with white and shimmery mint cardstocks and threw them in in my vellum tag with some gold and silver circle confetti and clear star confetti. I popped on another mint with its wrapper on the front along with the joy die from the Snow Globe Shaker die set.
