Newton's Nook Designs 3 Year Celebration Release - Party Pops, Pineapple Delight, and Tiki Time

Hello lovelies!

Welcome to day tow of the Newton's Nook Designs July Release!! 

Today we are sharing three stamp sets plus the coordinating dies!

They will be available for purchase this Friday the 15th, so just be patient a bit longer and you can get your crafty hands on these cuties!

I have to warn you, this is a VERY photo heavy post!
I'll try not to babble too much...*LOL*

Yummy! and adorable!!

Pineapples are my favorite, simply cannot have enough of them!!!

Now this is very different, right!

SOOO fun!!!

Here are my cards...;-)

Don't you wish you were invited to this party with these fun pops!?

Meet coffee pop, orange & cream pop, and strawberry pop!

Orange & cream really knows how to party, she borrowed the sunglasses from Newton's Summer Vacation set, and found a pretty little flower too! *giggle*

"Have a sweet day"
Now that's a perfect sentiment from the party pops!
I heat embossed it then die cut with the word bubble. 

When you have such cute images, you don't want to crowd your design with a ton of embellishments so I kept it very simple but still fun!

Now onto my pineapple!

I LOVE this sentiment!

Pineapples do make me happy...;-)

I die cut my pineapple from some felt then sewed some zig zags.

It was mounted on another pineapple that was die cut from watercolor paper (It's so nice and thick!)

This lovely sentiment was heat embossed with gold, then framed with gold also.

A few fun scribbles were also heat embossed, aren't they cute!? 

I heat embossed a few pineapple and scribble images on my base with light gold. 
It's so subtle but sparkly and fun! 

Okay, now the tikis!

Totem-pole!

That's what came to me when I first saw this set!

This is a super long card, 6-1/2"x3-1/2"!!

Three tikis were heat embossed with white on Crumb Cake, trying to look like carved wood with white paint on it...

This fun set comes with these beautiful hibiscus and leaf images.

I love this fun sentiment, I decided it needed to be framed! 

Tiki = Hawaii = beautiful sunset...is what I thought.
So I water colored the background with burning sunset orange, isn't it beautiful!?
Of course my watercolor paper warped like crazy so I sewed it onto the base, but I am loving the white zig zag stitches on this card!

Newton's Nook Designs 3 Year Celebration Release - Freshly Squeezed & Dog Days of Summer

Hello my crafty friends!

Welcome to day one of the Newton's Nook Designs July Release!

This July is also their three year anniversary, congratulations Jen and Jeff!

Are you all ready for this fun, big, fabulous release!?

Jennifer absolutely outdid herself and designed seven stamp sets and four die sets! 

They will be available for purchase this Friday the 15th, so enjoyed the reveal this week and grab what you love over at Newton's Nook Designs! 

Today we are revealing two of the stamp sets.

Are you ready for some serious cuteness!?

This one is called "Freshly Squeezed"!

Oh.My.Goodness!!!

It is full of summer fun images, eeeeek!!!

I am a cat person (a crazy cat lady to be exact...) BUT I LOVE this set!!!

How sweet are these images!?

These pups are having so much fun in the sun!

Alright, here are my cards...

How could I NOT make a fun, summery scene with this set!?

Winston is so adorable at his little lemonade stand!

I heat embossed the stand and lemons then water colored.

The banner was paper pieced, fun!

This fun sentiment was split into two.

The first half on the sun...

And the other half on the inside with a little pink lemon!

The grass was actually leftover from a previous project, perfect!

The background was lightly water colored with Soft Sky as well as behind Winston.

Now time for my pup card ;-)

I totally fell in love with this sweet pup eating ice cream!

She is just adorable!!! 

She reminds of me my partner in crime Nina's sweet Molly. She's a basset hound with only a few wrinkles, almost looks like beagle! She is such a sweetheart :-)

I stamped her with Sahara Sand then water colored. She was so much fun to color!

And don't forget the ice cream! I added some shine with clear glitter pen. Yum!

I also love this sweet sentiment, it was heat embossed on my water colored heart.

She is just so sweet, I had to frame her!

I love how this card turned out, just so sweet!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 366

Happy Sunday lovelies!

Are your ready for another Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!?

Now doesn't this look like some summer fun!?
The colors are so bright and fun, and hello! look at those adorable flamingos!
Here is my take...

Isn't this funky pineapple guy just perfect!? *giggle*

I bought this guy awhile ago, and it was about time that he got some ink on him!

I heat embossed the pineapple with light gold so it didn't steal the spotlight.

The leaves were heat embosses with Gumball Green twice, fussy cut some pieces out then popped them with some dimensions. I also heat embossed the glasses with Blushing Bride, the bow tie with Pool Party then they were both fussy cut.I gave him a pair of green googlie eye, what a handsome guy! ;-D

I wanted a small sentiment so it wouldn't take over the whole card, and I remembered I had this beautiful, skinny sentiment from Simon Says Stamp. It was die cut in Gold Foil Sheet, and all it needed was some sequins. I sprinkled some small gold stars, and rose gold sequins to match the pink glasses.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 365

Okay, here is my take...;-)

We were all offered $20 gift voucher to purchase their products, thank you so much Shay! How generous of you!!

With that, I immediately went to their website and got a few things (how can I NOT spend more than $20 worth of stuff when you shop there!? lol)

I HAD to get the In Bloom:Anna's Flora because of this beautiful sunflower!

The day I received my order, I had just watched the video by Kristina Werner showing how to color with Zig Clean Color brush set, and I was totally inspired by her! 

I heat embossed the sunflower in the middle first, then I masked it, and heat embossed the other two flowers and a couple of leaves. I hand drawn the stems. This was SO MUCH FUN to color!!! 

When I was all done coloring these beauties, I die cut the sentiment out of my watercolor, die cut another one from a cork sheet, nested the cork in, then put the watercolor piece on top of it. Some sparkling sequins and Linen Thread were added, done!
