Hello, lovelies!
Happy New Year 🎊
I hope you all had lovely holidays!
I am up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today with my very first post of the year! Woo Hoo! Thank you Jen and Jeff for keeping my around, I simply LOVE being on the NND DT 💗

Okay, here goes my card ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Newton Dreams of London Set - Naki Rager

Ew, I am SO SORRY for my poor quality photos!😬

Today's card is going to a very special little girl who is turning 2 this month, and her birthday party theme will be "Mary Poppins". The invitation that my friend made is absolutely adorable, and I had to use the colors from it! Which are dark gray, white, light blue, light yellow, and teal.

This adorable Miss Poppins kitty is from the Newton Dreams of London set. I heat embossed her with light gray embossing powder then watercolored. Black coat, hat, and umbrella are just like the movie, she had red and orange striped scarf but I chose yellow because that's what's on the invitation. I added a little white flower sequin on the hat because Miss Poppins has a few daisies in her hat in the movie ;-)

Yeahhh, I couldn't resist it...I just had to make a slider!
I borrowed the banner and sentiment from the Winston Takes Flight set, it was just perfect ;-) I also used the clouds from the set to recreate the sky scene on the invitation.

I really wish I had better photos, this card is really cute in person! {REALLY!!! LOL}

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Make sure you come back to check out the January Release soon, too! ;-)

Frantic Stamper December Release - Around The World

Saturday, December 23, 2017

Hi, there lovelies!
I am back with another card from the Frantic Stamper December Release today!
This release's theme is Around The World, so fun!

Okay, here it goes...;-)

Here I have is one of the great Pharoahs with his pyramid!
Or maybe he's dreaming of becoming that great...{LOL}

My Pharoah was created with the Base Paper Doll Body Die Set (10361) and the Egyptian Doll Clothes Die Set (10366) just like his beautiful queen last week. I also gave him the same cats-eye-make-up as his queen with Black Nuvo Crystal Drop. His gladiator sandals were fussy cut after die cutting one of the pairs of shoes from the Base paper Doll Body Set.

The ancient Egyptians must have been so very intelligent just to design perfect pyramids without the neat gadgets and/or technologies that we have these days! I would LOVE to go and see them someday, but for now, this beautiful die from the Sphinx and Pyramid Die Set (10368) will have to do ;-) I die cut this beautiful pyramid from shimmery yellow-ish green cardstock.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!

This will be my last post as a guest designer over at Frantic Stamper, I had so much fun showcasing Fran's beautiful dies! Huge thanks to Fran and Kathy for having me, and my sweet friend Jen Carter for inviting me to the team!

Newton's Nook Desighs

Monday, December 18, 2017

Hello, lovelies!
I am up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today to share a wrapping idea with some of the NND products ;-) Wow, can you believe that Christmas is next week!?
Here it goes...;-)

My original plan for today's project was just to make a couple of quick tags to go with the books for my twins' book exchange at pre-school this week, but I thought these adorable kitty Santa images would make a couple of 4-5 year olds extra happy ;-)

For preschoolers, I figured the traditional red and green were perfect, and polka dots are always fun, too! I am a bit obsessed with the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set, so many possibilities with different edges with different colors and patterns, oh how fun 💕

Red and green were reversed on this one but other than that, it is exactly the same.
Those beautiful sparkly snowflakes were die cut with the Snow Globe Shaker Die Set, what kid wouldn't like them!?

I wanted to stamp a bunch of small images all over the kraft paper, but random stamping is so hard for me! So instead, I stamped these super adorable images from the Santa Paws Newton Set and colored them colored pencils. This paper really wasn't for coloring so nothing fancy, but I think the red suits with white accents really pop on kraft, don't you think!?

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Happy holidays to everyone 💙💚💛

Frantic Stamper December Release - Around The World

Saturday, December 16, 2017

Hello, my lovelies!
I have another card I made with the Frantic Stamper December Release to share with you today, and I just know you're gonna love this one!

Okay, here it goes...;-)

So Fran has this adorable Kokeshi Japanese Paper Doll Die Set and told us that it's one of her best sellers in her shop (it is no wonder, they're so stinkin' cute!). Well, I think she did it again! She created this Base Paper Doll Body Die Set (10361) and different traditional outfits from around the world! I received the Egyptian Doll Clothes Die Set (10366) and I was very excited because my husband ABSOLUTELY LOVES ancient Egyptians and I've watched so many documentaries with him. They were such fascinating, advanced people, it is very intriguing to learn about them!

Even if you don't watch documentaries about ancient Egyptians, I bet you still know that Pharaohs and his queens dressed themselves with tons of beautiful gold and jewels. So naturally, I die cut my queen's accessories with bronze glimmer paper ;-) They look so sparkly and pretty on her white robe, dont' they!? And I couldn't forget about their cats eye make up! I added her eyeliner with black Nuvo crystal drop, isn't she fabulous!? ;-)

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
I will be back with more projects so make sure to come back again!

winter hop square with dates
Hi, lovelies!
Are you ready for the holidays!?
I made some time to play along with the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop this week!
It took me a few days to complete but here it is ;-)

I took advantage of the Black Friday sales and got what I had wanted for awhile {YAY!}, and this super adorable Cup Of Cheer stamp set along with the coordinating die set from Poppy Stamp is one of the goodies I finally purchased!

I stamped this super cute chipmunk with a coffee cup image and the cute chipmunk couple image with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper, colored them with Kuretake Gansai Tanbi Watercolor Set, and although I did buy the coordinating dies, they were fussy cut this time. They were adhered on my sponged front panel, then the steam image was heat embossed with white embossing powder directly on it and some Perfect Pearl was applied over the steam and coffee with a Q-tip.

I LOVE this sentiment 💕 Such beautiful handwriting, isn't it!? I wish I could write like this! It was heat embossed with rose gold embossing powder (another goodie from Black Friday sale!) on vellum and placed over a snippet of taffeta ribbon.

It was so much fun making this card just for fun, I miss playing challenges!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
