Hello, my lovelies!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs August Release!
All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 18th over at the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
Today is day 2 of the reveal and we're sharing the adorable Once Upon a Princess set along with the coordinating die set!
I am so in LOVE with this sweet and enchanting set!
I'm also loving the fact that Jen is branching out to non-critter images!
These princesses are absolutely adorable, aren't they!?
Here we go!
My twins (boy and girl) just turned 4 last Monday (I don't even know how that happened!) and this was for the girl :-) She is all about pinks and princesses and shiny things, such a girly girl!
After heat embossing this sweet princess with tan embossing powder, I water colored her dress pink and gold, and her hair bright brown just like her ;-) Her beautiful castle up on the hill was heat embossed with light gray embossing powder and water colored. The hill was die cut from patterned paper with the Land Borders Die.
{Ugh! Sorry about my dark photos again!}
My second card is more simple but still sweet ;-)
Pink and light green are so sweet together, aren't they!?
This princess was inspired by Tiana from the Disney movie The Princess and The Frog, obviously because of the frog prince she's holding...;-) She was stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper, no-line water colored, and die cut with the coordinating die. I colored her crown with the gold watercolor but it looked dull and dirty, so I heat embossed only the top part of the image with gold tinsel and fussy cut it.
