Hello, lovelies!
June is flying by so fast and it is already time for the Newton's Nook Designs June Release! All the new products will be available this Friday the 22nd in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop, but first, we are revealing them all week for a sneak peek ;-)
Today we have 2 new stencils, and the super adorable Playful Pandas Set along with the Coordinating Die Set!
This first stencil is called "Serene Stripes".
It is very unique and such an awesome design, it was love at the first sight for me!
This one is called "Sunscape".
I LOVE sunray/sunburst background, so this one totally had my name on it!
Oh, and Jen is such a clever girl, she designed this stencil to be used with or without the hills! We all love 2 for 1 deals, don't we!? ;-)
I literally squealed when I first saw this set 💚
I absolutely adore pandas, they're so fluffy and rolly-polly, I wish I could cuddle with one of them all day 💗 And look at the little bamboo pole and a bowl of noodles, so fun!
Okay, here go my projects...;-)
This little guy is just SO stinkin' cute 💚
The position he's in looks like he was tumbling down on a hill and that's how this card was designed ;-)
He was heat embossed with black embossing powder on white cardstock and die cut with the coordinating die. I made a slider, but he also rolls around just like how pandas would fall and roll!
Here, he is completely upside-down 😝
Isn't he just the cutest little ball of fur!!?
This awesome background was made with the new Sunscape Stencil.
I chose Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink with a touch of yellow for the sun, I wanted soft and warm sunbeams on my little panda. The hills were sponged with Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Inks. I also used the same colors to create more hills using the Land Borders Die Set, which was popped on with foam tape.
I LOVE bamboos 💚
I thought the Serene Stripes Stencil looked like a bamboo forest so I sponged with Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, and Bundled Sage Oxide Inks for the background.
This cute little guy was heat embossed with black EP on white cardstock and die cut using the coordinating die set, but I decided to trim off the white outline to match the fussy-cut bamboo that he is climbing up on.
This sentiment means A LOT coming from a panda, you know!? {Hee Hee 😆}
I just love it, it's simply adorable 💚
This whole tree was made with 4-1/3 bamboo pole images. I trimmed off some of the leaves and attached them to the top part of it so it looks like my hungry panda is eating his way up! {LOL}

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing....
Naki!!! Both cards are so adorable and creative!!!! amazing job!!!
ReplyDeleteI too squealed when I saw this panda set! First of all because one of my son's best friends is nicknamed "panda" and secondly, after 20 plus years in veterinary medicine, I have had the opportunity to cuddle a red panda! Your cards are not only adorable, but the one where the panda is "tumbling" so accurately captures their playful nature! Thanks for your wonderful inspiration. ❤
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are so precious! That one panda is so perfect
ReplyDeletefor a slider!! And I just love the panda with the bamboo.
Always a fan of a more Asian flare and reminds of the art of
Bonsai (my hubby's hobby).
Cute panda cards--love the interactive feature on the first one.
ReplyDeleteFantastic cards! Very creative!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are cute but the first one is my favorite because of how he tumbles down the hill!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness ! You’ve made two absolutely wonderful cards !! I really like the idea of black embossing the main character rather than the sentiment. Besides on florals, this isn’t something I see a lot. And what to say about your backgrounds other than they’re so gorgeous !! And not to mention your choice of perfect color combo !! Awesome job !!
