Hello, lovelies!
Welcome to the Newton's Nook Designs June Release!
Today is day 2 and we're revealing the Loveable Llamas Set along with the Coordinating Die Set, ready to see it!?
EEEEEEEK ๐
Who else is happy to see more llamas other than me!?
Not to mention all those accessories, how fun is that!?
Alright, here I go!
You have no idea how happy I was to see those sunglasses in this set!
I love adding them to my little critters and now we have a die! Woo Hoo!
This card turned out to be such a happy card, it makes me happy too ๐
I love adding them to my little critters and now we have a die! Woo Hoo!
This card turned out to be such a happy card, it makes me happy too ๐
So this has been sort of my pattern lately but the sentiment "No prob-llama" was the inspiration for today's card ;-) I wanted my llama to be like everything is cool, there is no prob-llama at all... So I heat embossed him with Tea Rose EP and colored him peachy pink and brown, so sweet and happy ๐ His cool shades and saddle were heat embossed with Gold Tinsel EP and colored the saddle with bright and shimmery Kuretake Pearl Colors. Then I added a frame to his shades with Nuvo Sugared Almond Crystal Drops, and also gave him mani & pedi with Gold Crystal Drops ;-) The fun sentiment was heat embossed with Gold EP on die-cut speech bubble vellum.
I die cut this triangle panel to match the geometric patterns on his saddle and mounted that onto the watercolored rainbow panel, which is kind of repeating the colors on the saddle.
I made another card with the other llama in the set ;-)
This one is more muted tone, I thought the more organic tone suited llamas.
For this card, I heat embossed this cutie (I just love her sassy face!) with Early Espresso EP on watercolor paper and watercolored her skin with brown. Then I stamped the same image on this soft floral patterned paper and fussy cut it. I purposely cut inside the lines so the embossed outline would show. I gave her a little blue flower sequin because she is just fabulous ๐
I always love Jen's adorable punny sentiments but this one's really cute! ๐
I decided to heat embossed with Early Espresso EP on this dusty pink balloon, which was die cut using the Balloon Shakers Die Set so that it would get more proper attention rather than hiding behind my sassy llama ;-)
Even though my llama looks fabulous and she even has this huge balloon, it wasn't quite festive enough so I added some confetti using the Confetti Stencil and Gold Embossing Paste. I didn't want something really shiny or shimmery so this gold embossing paste was perfect, but it was still missing something so I sprinkled those tiny red star confetti and I LOVE it ๐
