Hello, lovelies!
Today kicks off the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release! So exciting!
We have a lot of fun and adorable new products and they will all be available for purchase this Friday the 19th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop! BUT first things first, we are revealing them so you can make your wish list! On day one, we have a fabulous line of goodies so let's get moving!
Isn't this absolutely beautiful!?
Who wouldn't like to receive a vintage silhouette Christmas card made with this set!? It is also not the NND usual cute critter set and I just LOVE when Jen tries something different!
I know! I know!! I know!!!
It is always really exciting to see stand-alone die sets (especially I'm a huge sentiment die lover!) but Jen simply outdid herself with these beautiful Forest Scene Builder and Holiday Greeting Sets 💙
So tell me, you love the NND Stencils, don't you?
I love Jen's unique, beautiful designs and this one here Evergreens Stencil is absolutely gorgeous!
YES! Snow!
I LOVE the new Petite Snow Stencil, it is so dainty and gentle 💙
I am so very very excited about this Music Stancil!
This is fun and so versatile!
Okay, here is what I made...;-)
I used a few of the new products on this vintage card ;-)
I stamped the children playing, and pine tree images multiple times to create this little forest background with Versamark Ink then heat embossed with clear EP on kraft cardstock to achieve the sepia look. I do the love tone on tone look but it can be a bit too plain so I added some snow on the ground using the Snow Maker Pen and gentle snowfalls using the new Petite Snow Stencil and embossing paste.
I wanted a pop of color on this muted card, and adding the new sentiments die cut from red foil paper across this vintage snowy scene seemed like a good way to do it ;-)
My second card with the Winter Memories Set is more bright and crisp look!
This lovely couple was heat embossed with iridescent ice EP and die cut using the coordinating die.
This beautiful sentiment, a snowflake, and the lake where the lovely couple is skating on were all heat embossed with silver EP for an icy look ;-)
I also heat embossed pine trees using the Evergreens Stencil and snowflake tinsel EP for a background.
Isn't it simply gorgeous!?
My third card is pretty simple but isn't it beautiful!?
The new Forest Scene Builder Die Set is a must-have!
So I die cut a few trees from white cardstock and adhered them onto gray cardstock then trimmed off the excess around. The sentiment was die cut from white glimmer paper, placed between the birch trees, and a few of red birds also from the Forest Scene Builder Die Set give the perfect pop of color/finishing touch ;-)
