Hello, lovelies!
Welcome to the Newton's Nook Designs Annual Deck The Halls with Inky Paws Blog Hop!
I hope you have enjoyed our gorgeous line of guests' gorgeous work this week!
So today, all the fabulous guests and DT members are blog hopping with holiday projects and if you came from Zsofia's blog, you're on the right track! If you are lost, simply scroll down and the lineup will help you get back to wherever you were or want to be ;-)
Alright, let's take a look at what I created...;-)
My card for today was inspired by my children decorating the tree ;-)
With 4 little kids and 2 cats, we can't have fancy AKA breakable ornaments on our tree so we only hang those adorable plushy ones and durable plastic ones. I actually like it that way better thought ;-)
This sweet and adorable fawn is from the Harvest Tails Set.
It is a fall set and this Bambi actually has pumpkins in her wagon, but I didn't ink that part up and after die cutting the watercolored image using the coordinating die, I trimmed off the blank part where the pumpkins are supposed to be. My little fawn is towing her little tree, which was watercolored and die cut using the Festive Forest Die Set (including the star). She has decorated it with a gold bead garland, which I used Nuvo Bright Gold Crystal Drops.
These beautiful sentiments were die cut using the Holiday Greeting Die Set from poppy cardstock then got all glammed up by the glitter pen ;-)
The background was created with blues and greens Distress inks then tons of white ink splatters. For the last detail, I die cut a few snowflakes using the Snowglobe Shaker Die Set from glitter paper ;-)
