Fun Card

Tuesday, April 12, 2016

Hi there!
I am making a quick stop to share a card I made for my son's friend's birthday ;-)

I know it's not anything new, but this boy likes Minions, so how could I not make one!? ;-) I actually have never seen the movies Despicable Me, but I have seen funny little videos on social media and they are so cute! Those laughs...hee hee

I die cut 8 of 2-1/2" rings in Smoky Slate and one more in silver foil sheet. I glued all the Smoky Slate rings together, added plastic bag that is also die cut, then topped with the silver foil ring. I used this 1" googlie eye, added band and a mouth. The mouth was punched with 2" and 2-1/2" circle punches.

Isn't his little hair cute!? *giggle*
I wrapped this black crochet yarn around my fingers several times, tied the middle  then cut the ends. I poked a little hole in my base and fed the yarn through and secured it with a piece of tape on the inside.

All he needed was some denim. I used this blue Co'ordinations cardstock for some texture. I think he turned out so stinkin' cute! I also got my son's approval ;-)

My notes...

Paper: Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Silver Foil Sheet, Blue Textured Cardstock (Co'ordinations)
Accessory: Black Crochet Yarn, 1" Googlie Eye
Tool: Circle Framelits Die, 2" and 2-1/2" Circle Punches, Piercing Tool

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
