Hi there!
Today I am playing along with the Sketch For You To Try Challenge over at Reverse Confetti!

Such a fun sketch, isn't it!?
Here is my take...

This sketch made me think of a well worn leather belt...weird! *LOL*
And that is exactly the look I went for!

So I made my "belt" with this dark brown core'dinations Kraft cardstock. All I needed to do was take off some of the dark brown with a sand paper. I die cut a small piece of blue vellum with the fringe die, rolled it up and there I have a tassel ;-) I fed the hemp cord in this brass button and popped it on the tassel!

I flipped over the core'dinations cardstock and die cut it with the chevron panel, matted that onto this orange patterned paper and trimmed off the corners with scissors. I picked this scrap cardstock for this lovely sentiment. I love blue and orange together!

For the background, I chose this old ledger looking paper from the This and That:Epic Day DSP pack. I love the vintage look of this paper, plus it had orange lines and some blue ;-)  I used the distress tool and a sand paper to make the edges look all torn and old. My pants were covered with fuzzy pieces when I was done! *LOL*

My notes...

Paper: Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, Summer Smooches DSP, This and That: Epic Day DSP (SU!), Dark Brown Core'dinations Kraft-Core Nostalgic Collection Cardstock (Tim Holtz), Blue Vellum (Studio Calico)
Accessory: Brass Button (SU!), Hemp Cord (Amazon.com)
Tool: Fancy Words and Chevron Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts (Reverse Confetti), Lulu Fringe Cutaway (Winnie and Walter), Distress Tool (SU!), Sand Paper (Tim Holtz)

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
