Hi there!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs November Release!
All the new goodies will be available for purchase this Friday the 25 over at the Newton's Nook Designs Shop along with their big, Black Friday Sale!
Today is day 3 of the reveal, and we are sharing the Serene Silhouette set!

SO.PRETTY.!!!!!
Need I say more...!? ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Serene Silhouette Set - Naki Rager

This card ended up being very different from my original design in my head...*LOL*
As I worked on this, my design kept changing and it looks like someone else made this card! *Hahaha*

Newton's Nook Designs Serene Silhouette Set - Naki Rager

The first thing I did was heat emboss these beautiful birches with white on gray.
They were die cut using the coordinating die set (love it!). I wanted to have one of the critters peeking out, and this deer was just perfect! He was heat embossed with clear on gray, die cut, then placed behind popped up birch. I applied some Perfect Pearl with a Q-tip to make his breath coming out of him.

Sparkly snow, sparkly sequins as falling snow, and I was done, but it was too monochromatic and boring so the little red bird decided to fly over.

I made another card ;-)
This one is located in the ice cold Arctic!

Here is a polar bear couple walking on snow, which was made with this fun, snow maker marker! All you need to do is apply the marker on your cardstock and heat it with your heat tool!
The bears were also heat embossed with clear. I accidentally got some white powder on them, but I liked them like this, it looks like they're being snowed on!

I water colored this panel trying to make a night sky (so why did I use purple and green!? I honestly don't know...lol), but it turned out looking more like aurora borealis and I LOVE it! I splattered silver ink with a paint brush all over, then also stamped a little snowflake with silver ink. The sentiment "Winter Friends Last Forever" was heat embossed with silver, and glittery silver washi tape was added on the top of the card.

  11. I love this stamp set and I love what you did with it! These are seriously "cool" cards! Your idea to make the deer's breath visible is genius! And I love the Northern Lights on the other card! The accidental "snow" on the bears turned out to be a great finishing touch! Thanks so much for sharing these!
