Happy Monday, my friends!
Today the Newton's Nook Designs Design Team is joining the 25 Days of Christmas Tags Blog Hop hosted by fabulous Tracey McNeely! She organizes this fun hop every year and so many fabulous companies sponsor this and offer fabulous prizes, so head over to Tracey's blog In My Creative Opinion and check out the details ;-)

Alright, here is what I created...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Christmas Tags - Naki Rager

I made 5 of these CAS tags ;-)
I've been attracted to the white-on-white-with-a-pop-of-red-look lately, I think it is so fun!
Ready to take a closer look at them!?

Newton's Nook Designs Forest Builder & Holiday Greetings Die Sets - Naki Rager

All my tags today were die cut using the Fancy Edges Tags Die Set, it measures about 2-3/8" x 3-3/4".
This one was decorated with 3 short pine trees, which was die cut using the Forest Scene Builder Die Set, Merry sentiment die cut from poppy cardstock using the Holiday Greetings Die Set, and snowfalls using the Petite Snow Stencil and embossing paste.

Newton's Nook Designs Pines & Holly Die Set - Naki Rager

My second tag is all about holly jolly!
The background was created using the Holiday Foliage Stencil and embossing paste, I just love the white paste on white cardstock! The holly leaves were die cut from white cardstock to continue the white-on-white theme, then the berries were die cut from poppy cardstock, both using the Pines & Holly Die Set.

Newton's Nook Designs Snow Globe Shaker & Splendid Stags Die Sets - Naki Rager

Now onto my third tag, you're getting the pattern here, aren't you!?
First using the Tree Rings Stencil and embossing paste for the white-on-white background, then the stag was die cut from white cardstock using the Splendid Stags Die Set, the Joy sentiment was die cut from white and poppy cardstock using the Snow Globe Shaker Die Set. All the pieces were die cut twice to layer to give some dimension ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Ornament Shaker Die Set - Naki Rager

This pair of tags were basically 2 for 1 ;-)
I picked from dark red to peachy pink to create the ombre effect. Each color was trimmed to about 3/4" wide and die cut "HO HO HO" using the Ornament Die Set. I separated the words out of the strips and simply adhered them onto one of the tags. I also added a couple of birds and a squirrel from the Forest Scene Builder Die Set. On the other tag, I mounted the strips and little circles from the letter Os. Aren't they super easy but super fun!?

Newton's Nook Designs Christmas Tags - Naki Rager

If you are planning on making Christmas tags to go with every present to your loved ones, simple designs like these would be perfect! The pop of red on all white designs are pretty dramatic, don't you think!? And when you use negative die cut pieces, you create less waste AND you instantly have 2 tags made!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed my CAS tags today!
