Hello, lovelies!
I am up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog with this sweet encouragement card today!

Newton's Nook Designs Newton's Rainy Day Set - Naki Rager

The Newton's Rainy Day Stamp Set is perfect for cheering up someone 💙
It is one of my all-time-favorites, I just find these 2 sweet pals sharing an umbrella so adorable 💙

I mean, look at this sweet image! Doesn't it put a big smile on your face!!?
So I stamped this sweet image on watercolor paper and did some no-line watercoloring as always, then it was die cut using the coordinating die set. I colored this kitty like Newton to honor him, and Jen and Jeff. This boy will live on as Jen's adorable stamps and keep on traveling the world, trying new things, and getting in trouble sometimes 😽💕

I like extra little stamps such as these raindrops, which comes in the Newton's Rainy Day Stamp Set. They can be used for a little accent, or create a whole background. I blended a couple of Distress Oxide Inks to make a cloudy sky then stamped this little image all over the front panel. I then colored in the inside of them with white and added Nuvo Crystal Drops for some shine and dimension.

I die cut a big puffy cloud from vellum using the Sky Borders Die Set and mounted on the top of the front panel. I like to use vellum because it's subtle, and doesn't interrupt the scene you've created. I'm really happy with how this card turned out, and hopefully, my recipient will love it as much as I do 💙

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!

  2. I came looking for your tag creation from Tracy's 25 days off tags. I found this cute card instead. I love the image and sentiment. Very cute. I like the tag too, btw.
