Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 307

Hi there, happy Tuesday!

I am playing my favorite, Cupcake Inspirations Challenge, earlier this week. 

The last two posts on the cards I made for this challenge were published on Saturdays, and I totally forgot to link them before they closed! UGH! 

Spring is my favorite season!

The fondest spring memory I have is the cherry blossom trees when I was growing up in Japan. Every spring, my parents and their friends would take us kids to "hanami", literal translation is flower watching, but it is a picnic under the cherry blossom trees. The petals of the cherry blossoms fall down from the trees like snow, and they are so soft and smelling so nice. It is just so beautiful! 

So this is my spring:-) A singing bird on cherry Blossoms. 

It took me way too long to make this card, I was making it way more complicated than it needed to be... Do you ever do that!? 

I don't even remember if it was my mom, my sister, or my best friend who sent me, but I got these puffy, fuzzy cherry blossoms stickers from Japan a few years ago. I just put them away and they got buried... Well, I was looking for something in my little drawer of embellishments, and found them a few weeks ago! Ha Ha 

Aren't they fun and cute!?

The sentiment is from one of the Paper Pumpkin kits All Shook Up, it's the kit that had Shaker cards. I just wanted something small and simple:-) It's perfect, isn't it?
