Hi lovelies!
Happy July Forth to my American friends!
Those who are not in the US, Happy Saturday!
I am playing Sparkle and Shine Challenge today, they have the perfect, fun theme for this very patriotic day!
Isn't this photo lovely!?
Here is what I came up with...
I've been using Whisper White for my base a lot, but I thought this photo was rustic so Crumb Cake seemed like a better fit.
I have been loving my fringe die! It's just so much fun!!
I decided to use some tissue paper, can you believe I didn't have any red!!? I tried sponging white tissue, but it just didn't work... so I had to use DSP, which is thinner than cardstock so it still gave the similar soft look as the tissue paper. The tissue paper is layered 5, 6 pieces.
The stars seemed appropriate for this card.
I die cut 2 stars in vellum, and 2 in silver foil sheet. I left the inside pieces in the silver stars to give extra shine.
I couldn't choose a sentiment, but finally decided on this one because I liked the font on this card! Of course I brushed it with my glitter pen, but no matter which angels I tried, I couldn't photograph it today!
I added a few silver star sequins, perfect finishing touch, don't you think!?
My notes...
Paper: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Real Red DSP (Retired Patterns), Silver Foil Sheet, Vellum, Tissue Paper
Accessory: Silver Star Sequins (Pretty Pink Posh)
Tool: Stars Craft Die (Studio Calico), With Love Die (Waffle Flower), Sewing Machine
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Happy Independence day!!!
