Hi there!
I follow several blogs and one of them is Amy Tsuruta. Her work is so beautiful, and you can tell by her blog that she has a bubbly personality! Anyway, she was a guest designer on this brand new challenge called Pinterst Inspired Challenge.
How to play along with challenge is simple, they pick an image from pinterest for inspirations, and you make a card! The name says it all, right? *hee hee*
The above is their very first pick, fun!
Funny story (well, not really...), I found this challenge the day after I received my Ellen Hutson Order. I had finally ordered this fabulous Wild Garden Die set and it was just perfect for this challenge!
Aren't these flowers fabulous!?
I really liked the colors in the inspirational photo. I used Mint Macaron, Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate, and Basic Black, pretty close, right?
I splattered some Mint Macaron ink using a paint brush. I know...can't really see, sorry :-( The ink is light, and the photographer lacks some serious skills! *Ha Ha!*
It's a simple card, but I think the bold brushed sentiment has a big statement, and the flowers are just oh so pretty ;-)
My notes...
Stamp: Written in Watercolor (My Favorite Things)
paper: Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Crushed Curry, Mint Macaron, Maggie Holmes Flea Market (Crate Paper)
Ink: Mint Macaron, Versamark
Tool: Heat Tool, Black Stampin' Emboss Powder, Essentials by Ellen Wild Garden Die (Ellen Hutson)
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Absolutely perfect!
