Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 317

Sunday, July 5, 2015

Hello there, lovelies!
I was keeping this very big news from you for a little while, and today is the day I get to finally spill it!
I was invited to join the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Design Team, and of course I accepted it!!! How exciting is this!!?

Now let's get to business!
This week's sponsor is lovely Paper Sweeties!

Here is this week's inspirations... Sprinkles!
Here is my card ;-)

So much going on on this card! LOL
I took the "sprinkles" as sprinkles of rain, hence the umbrella, clouds, raindrops...

Are you loving the sentiment and the umbrella as much as I am!?
The sentiment is the Happy stamp/Sweet Cuts die sets, and the umbrella is the Showering with Love stamp/Sweet Cuts die sets, all from Paper Sweeties ;-)
There is a little vellum fringe underneath the banner. I used the Lulu Fringe Cutaways from Winnie & Walter.

My rain is super sweet and pretty, isn't it!?
Those flower sequins are also from Paper Sweeties, which are my favorite!
Those patterned papers are from my stash, I don't even know when I bought them! I clipped those images out and randomly piled them. The white cloud is from the Showering with Love sets also. It was stamped with the Soft Sky Stampin' Ink Pad, then water was applied to get very subtle blue inside.

The owner of Paper Sweeties, Debbie, made this special mix for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge! Isn't she sweet!? They are like little jewels, so pretty! I tried to pick the colors from this mix.

I enjoyed making my very first card as a design team member, but also felt like I had to make something really fabulous! LOL:-D I guess that's why I kept piling up more and more stuff...lol

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Now don't forget to check out the rest of the design team over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge and link up your creation!
