Hello, lovelies!
I cannot believe that February is almost over, can you!?
All my kids have had the flu the past 2-1/2 weeks (they always take turns to get sick, so polite, right!?😑) Hope you stay healthy and avoid the flu!!!

Anyway, I am up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today so let's take a look ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Newton Celebrates Set - Naki Rager

It is almost March and I have a few Birthdays to celebrate ;-)
This Friday the 1st is my oldest's, it doesn't seem real that he is turning 9!!!
And then there's my bestie's birthday, which is on the 17th...

Newton's Nook Designs Newton Celebrates Set - Naki Rager

My bestie and I have been friends since we were 16 and I love her like a sister!
So I get to play around and tease her by giving her this St.Patrick's Day themed card {LOL}
The sweet kitty in the big glass image is from the Newton Celebrates Set. As you can see, I colored the drink green ;-) The sentiment die is from the Cocktail Mixer Die Set, I die cut it then heat embossed with iridescent EP.

Newton's Nook Designs Newton Celebrates Set - Naki Rager

This little sentiment is from the Cocktail Mixer Stamp Set, it was heat embossed with white EP on black cardstock, trimmed it down and popped on the fun, gold foil frame ;-)

The shaker part was created using the Framework Die Set and Acetate Sheet, and it was filled with greens and gold sequins and bead seeds ;-)

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Have a lovely day 💛

Newton's Nook Designs February Release Day 4

Thursday, February 14, 2019

Hello, lovelies!
Happy Valentine's Day 💗💗💗
It's the last day of the Newton's Nook Designs February Release!
All the new products will be available tomorrow Friday the 15th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
We're revealing 2 sweet sets today, ready to see!?

These 2 friends from the new Puppy Pals Set are sooo stinkin' cute 💛💜💙

Jen's critters are all so cute, and then she piled them up!!!
Can you even handle all this cuteness the new Spring Pile up Set has!!?
let's take a look at what I've created...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Puppy Pals Set - Naki Rager

Isn't this absolutely adorable!!? 💛💙💛

Newton's Nook Designs Puppy Pals Set - Naki Rager

These sweet pups were stamped, watercolored, and die cut using the coordinating die.
I die cut it 3 more times and mounted them all on top of each other to give dimension instead of using foam tape, it's kind of using chipboard ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Puppy Pals Set - Naki Rager

Awww, isn't this sentiment just so sweet!?
I simply heat embossed it with orange EP and trimmed the ends to make it into a little banner.

Newton's Nook Designs Puppy Pals Set - Naki Rager

This adorable background was created using the new Bokeh Stencil Set. I actually created this for another card but the colors were all wrong! But look how perfect it is with my pups! I love happy accidents 💛 It was die cut using the Frames & flags Die Set and mounted on my bright orange base. I love blue and orange together, so happy and fun 😊

Newton's Nook Designs Puppy Pals Set - Naki Rager

I made another card with this super adorable puppy duo 💛
(Sorry about the dark photos!)

Newton's Nook Designs Puppy Pals Set - Naki Rager

I thought it might be fun to color these pups pink for Valentine's Day ;-)
I colored their accessories green and yellow. I popped them on this fun gray striped paper that has these fun, bright watercolor streaks.

Newton's Nook Designs Puppy Pals Set - Naki Rager

"Puppy Love" was die cut using the Essential Alphabet Die Set from chartreuse cardstock, and Happy Valentine's Day that I borrowed from the Love Owl-ways Set was heat embossed with lime green EP on black cardstock. The bright, fun green picks up the pups' accessories ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Puppy Pals Set - Naki Rager

Super simple design with muted colors such as light gray patterned paper and very pale pink on the pups, but I played around with the bright sentiments and accessories. Isn't this adorable!? ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Spring Pile Up Set - Naki Rager

This new Spring Pile Up Set is oh, so adorable 💛💙💛
I decided to make a 3-1/4" x 5-1/2" card (I basically trimmed 1" off an A2 card).

Newton's Nook Designs Spring Pile Up Set - Naki Rager

This cute sentiment was heat embossed with yellow and orange EP on vellum, which was die cut using the Frames & Flags Die. I also die cut using the banner dies from the same die set to create this fun "Pile-Up" to add more spring colors and fun patterns ;-) The orange pompom trim is simply cute and fun, it seemed like the perfect embellishment ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Spring Pile Up Set - Naki Rager

These cuties were colored with spring colors, I mean, why not!? ;-)
Their little basket has the matching colored eggs, too.

Newton's Nook Designs Spring Pile Up Set - Naki Rager

To accentuate the length of this stamp, this sweet little sheep from the new Woodland Spring Set (revealed on day 2) joined the party, and they were all mounted on this green chevron paper.

Newton's Nook Designs February Release Day 3

Wednesday, February 13, 2019

Hello, lovelies!
Today is the day 3 of the Newton's Nook Designs February Release and we have a super adorable set for you!
All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 15th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
Alright, ready to see it!?

The new Newton's Peeps Set is so adorable, and just perfect for Easter 🐣💜
Here is my take...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Newton's Peeps Set - Naki Rager

I know it's still February but am ever so patiently waiting for spring 🌱🌷🌼
Making this spring card when it was freezing cold outside helped me escape from that a little bit...😉

Newton's Nook Designs Newton's Peeps Set - Naki Rager

This adorable image was stamped on watercolor paper, I even added another chick, which is from the same set. I did no-line watercolor, then created the grass and sky.

Newton's Nook Designs Newton's Peeps Set - Naki Rager

Popped a few little flowers, and sewed a few clouds that were die cut from light blue vellum using the Newton Scoots By Die Set (many of the NND sets have little cloud images/dies but I always remember this set before any of them...LOL). I added this peachy washi tape on the side, then thought it might be fun to have a teeny tiny bit of gold peeking ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Newton's Peeps Set - Naki Rager

Here is another card with the Newton's Peeps Set 🐣🐤
Pink x green is one of my favorite color combos, plus it's very springy, too ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Newton's Peeps Set - Naki Rager

My sweet kitty and little chicks got soft, fuzzy watercoloring ;-)
I colored the bow on the basket green first but I didn't like it so I stamped another image and colored the same pink as my kitty's collar, fussy cut it and popped it over the green bow. Some shimmer was added to the bow, basket, and collar using Wink of Stella Glitter Pen ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Newton's Peeps Set - Naki Rager

This sweet pink background was sponged with Tattered Rose and just a teeny bit of Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink then gold ink was splattered all over. So to match the gold splatter, I heat embossed this cute sentiment with gold EP on vellum, which was die cut using the stitched ticket die from the Framework Die Set.

Newton's Nook Designs February Release Day 2

Tuesday, February 12, 2019

Hello, lovelies!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs February Release!
All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 15th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
Today is day 2 of the reveal and EEEEEK 💛 Are you ready for some serious cuteness!?

I KNOW!!! 😆💗💗💗
Have you ever seen anything this sweet before!?
Here is my take...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Woodland Spring Set - Naki Rager

There is no need to adjust the brightness on your device!
The colors used on this card are really, really light ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Woodland Spring Set - Naki Rager

These sweet, sweet images made me so very soft, I barely applied colors to them! Flowers got a bit more colors because what would they be without bright colors!? ;-) All the images were stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper, watercolored, and die cut using the coordinating dies. I popped a couple of flowers over the sweet bunny's cute tushie to continue the fox's flower garland.

Newton's Nook Designs Woodland Spring Set - Naki Rager

This sweet background was created using the new Bokeh Stencil Set. I sponged the Tattered Rose Distress Oxide first, then Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide using the same stencil, I moved around the stencil to only use smaller circles. The sentiment was heat embossed with Rose Gold EP.

Newton's Nook Designs Woodland Spring Set - Naki Rager

This sweet fawn with her little birdy friend is really enjoying the green grass and little flowers when there's still some snow left in the forest, the very beginning of spring is so gentle and soft yet colors are so bright and cheerful, it is such a beautiful season 💛

Newton's Nook Designs Woodland Spring Set - Naki Rager

This sweet, sweet duo was very lightly watercolored just like my first card.
The young grass was die cut using the Land Borders Die Set from chartreuse cardstock, and behind that is a little snowy hill that was also die cut using the same die set.

Newton's Nook Designs Woodland Spring Set - Naki Rager

Those beautiful birch trees were die cut using the Forest Scene Builder Die Set, they were mounted on the sponged background. Those yellow sequins are nice soft sunrays ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs February Release Day 1

Monday, February 11, 2019

Hello, peeps!
Today kicks off the Newton's Nook Designs February Release!
All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 15th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
We have so many awesome products to reveal today so let's get to it! ;-)

Here you see is the Bokeh Stencil Set 💛
The Stencil Sets are so fun, I absolutely love them!

This single stencil is called Bold Blooms, isn't this so pretty!?

This is Flower Trio Die Set 🌼💛
You and I both know that this die set is going to be one of your new favorites...;-)

Look at this cheerful, adorable new set!
The Loads of Blooms Stamp and Die Sets scream spring 💛
Okay, here are what I made with them...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Loads of Blooms Set - Naki Rager

This sweet image immediately gave me a slider card idea!
It kind of reminded me of riding my bike in Japan. it was one of the main transportations I had, and when the weather was nice and you go down a hill on your bike and let go of the pedals like this girl is doing, it felt so good!

Newton's Nook Designs Loads of Blooms Set - Naki Rager

This sweet image was stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper and I did no-line watercoloring, then die cut using the coordinating die.

Newton's Nook Designs Loads of Blooms Set - Naki Rager

The front panel was sponged, the sliding path was die cut, the sentiment was heat embossed with Rose Gold EP alongside the sliding path, several flowers from the same set were popped on my sponged meadow, and a few clouds were also popped on, which were die cut using the Newton Scoots By Die Set.

Newton's Nook Designs Loads of Blooms Set - Naki Rager

I like rain :-)
So I just had to use this image for my second card ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Loads of Blooms Set - Naki Rager

Rainy days don't mean you have to be gloomy!
I have a yellow rain jacket with navy & white stripes inside and just love wearing my cheerful jacket! So I colored this girl's raincoat a nice, bright yellow with fun blue, too ;-) The sentiment was heat embossed with yellow to keep the color scheme ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Loads of Blooms Set - Naki Rager

I used the new Bold Blooms Stencil to create this soft but cheerful spring background 🌼💛
I cut a make-up sponge into tiny pieces to sponge all these pretty flowers in different colors ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Flower Trio Die Set - Naki Rager

Here's a card I made using the new Flower Trio Die Set ;-)
3D flowers give so much drama, it's simply fun, isn't it!? 💛

Newton's Nook Designs Flower Trio Die Set - Naki Rager

So I die cut all these pieces from a sheet of watercolor paper and left them in the sheet to watercolor, that way you don't have to hold small pieces with your fingers ;-) I did watercolor the leaves, too, but I found this shimmery green cardstock and they looked prettier ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Flower Trio Die Set - Naki Rager

I simply clustered all the flowers with the leaves as close as I could, which took me way too long to figure out! But it was totally worth it! I placed a few droplets on some of the leaves, and sprinkled sequins ;-) I think this is so springy and pretty, I am so happy with how it turned out! 💛
