Here is what I created...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Narly Mermaids & Newton Loves Coffee Sets - Naki Rager

Did you know that Newton even has his own coffee company!?
It's true, It all started with this one blend of coffee back in 2016 (click HERE to see what I am talking about! LOL)

Newton's Nook Designs Narly Mermaids & Newton Loves Coffee Sets - Naki Rager

Usually, Newton would be in the spotlight but he has business to run and has to compete against big, famous coffee companies. So he hired this two-tailed mermaid (or siren, some say...), who looks a lot like the one from the Narly Mermaids Stamp Set from NND to make his company logo!

Newton's Nook Designs Narly Mermaids & Newton Loves Coffee Sets - Naki Rager

This perfect sentiment and the cute little coffee beans are from the Newton Loves Coffee Stamp Set ;-)
The beans were heat embossed with dark brown EP, and the sentiment was heat embossed with black EP.

Therm-O-Web Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holiday Release

Friday, September 28, 2018

Hello, lovelies!
I have another card to share that is showcasing the Therm-O-Web Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holiday Release products!

Therm-O-Web Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holly Jolly Set - Naki Rager

I think today's card turned out to be better than I originally planned!
Since I'm such a rebel {LOL}, I do like to come up with non-traditional Christmas card designs!

Therm-O-Web Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holly Jolly Set - Naki Rager

This sentiment is from the Holly Jolly Stamp Set, which was heat embossed on vellum and fussy cut. The pine image is also from the same set, it was heat embossed with Iridescent Ice EP then die cut using the Coordinating Die

Therm-O-Web Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holly Jolly Set - Naki Rager

I used one of the Gina K. Designs Foil-Mates Backgrounds Holiday Flora. All I needed to do was trim it down to the size I wanted, which is 4-1/4" x 5-1/2", then ran it through the laminator with the Gina K. Designs Fancy Foils Red Velvet. Isn't it beautiful!? I also added the Gingham Fancy Ribbon, and I am LOVING it!

Therm-O-Web Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holly Jolly Set - Naki Rager

This whole design started with the Gingham Fancy Ribbon, I just had to use it!
And I sure love making messy ruffles with my ribbons! Then I like to pile up lots and lots of things such as stamped images, embellishments, die-cut pieces, etc... pretty much anything you can think of!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!

Newton's Nook Designs

Wednesday, September 26, 2018

Hello, lovelies!
Today I am up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog with this fun card I created using a few NND products!

Newton's Nook Designs Tea-Rex Set - Naki Rager

So are you ready to PAR-TEA with the TEA-REX!!?
Sorry, I couldn't resist...{LOL}

Newton's Nook Designs Tea-Rex Set - Naki Rager

I just LOVE.LOVE.LOVE. this little guy from the Tea-Rex Mini Stamp Set, which is one of the new September Release! He was stamped with black Archival Ink on watercolor paper, watercolored, and die cut using the Coordinating Die. His little party hat was die cut using the Balloon Shaker Die Set. I decorated it a bit with Clear Glitter pen and the tiny red confetto. I also added another star to his little matching mug as well.

Newton's Nook Designs Tea-Rex Set - Naki Rager

I borrowed the "PARTY" sentiment from the Naughty Newton Stamp Set and heat embossed the only "PAR", then heat embossed the TEA-REX sentiment to complete the custom-made sentiment.

Newton's Nook Designs Tea-Rex Set - Naki Rager

The sunbeam background was created using the Sunscape Stencil and Encore Gold Ink, then to make it more festive, I added some confetti using the Confetti Stencil and embossing paste. I also sprinkled several tiny red confetti for the finishing touch ;-) This card may look simple but I put a lot of little details ;-)

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!

STAMPtember Exclusive Newton's Nook Designs

Sunday, September 23, 2018

Hello, lovelies!
Today Newton's Nook Designs is featured on the Simon Says Stamp site with an EXCLUSIVE stamp set that was designed just for the 2018 STAMPtember celebration! You can purchase the new Hello Beautiful Stamp Set and coordinating die sets today at Simon Says Stamp.

*Remember, these items are ONLY available through Simon Says Stamp while supplies last!*
EEEEEEK 💚💛💙
Isn't this absolutely adorable!?
Here's my take...;-)

STAMPtember Exclusive Newton's Nook Designs Hello Beautiful Set - Naki Rager

My first card is with this adorable pup couple 💛

STAMPtember Exclusive Newton's Nook Designs Hello Beautiful Set - Naki Rager

This sweet image was stamped with Light Gray Archival Ink on watercolor paper, watercolored, and fussy cut only the pups. Those fun hills were die cut using the Land Borders Die Set, the same image was stamped on where I wanted my pups, paper pieced the pup and the flag. "Hello" from the Hello Beautiful set was heat embossed on the left side of the flag, and the die cut "you" was placed on the right side. For their tags on the collars, I added silver heart confetti ;-)

STAMPtember Exclusive Newton's Nook Designs Hello Beautiful Set - Naki Rager

The new Hello Beautiful Set is just perfect for dressing up your envelopes too! I am really bad with mailing my handmade cards, but I'm thinking these little additions might motivate me to actually do more! All you need is stamp or heat emboss one of the cute critters and add a sentiment like this one ;-) I also added little hearts die cut from the same patterned papers on the pup card.

STAMPtember Exclusive Newton's Nook Designs Hello Beautiful Set - Naki Rager

My second card is with this adorable kitty ;-)
I wanted to showcase how you could add to their signs pretty much anything you want ;-)
I thought these glimmer copper letters on wide B & W stripes would really fun for a big birthday!

STAMPtember Exclusive Newton's Nook Designs Hello Beautiful Set - Naki Rager

My dear baby sister is turning 40 in a couple of weeks. She and I are Irish twins so until my birthday in November, we'll both be 40! 😬 The kitty was stamped with Light Gray Archival Ink on watercolor, watercolored, then fussy cut. The letters and numbers are from the Essential Alphabet Die Set. It looked pretty plain so I added the vellum with white starts behind my kitty, which was die cut using the Snow Globe Shaker Die Set. To give more party feel, using the Balloon Shaker Die Set,  I die cut the tiny confetti from black and white cardstock, the party hat from tiny B & W striped patterned paper.

STAMPtember Exclusive Newton's Nook Designs Hello Beautiful Set - Naki Rager

To mail this special birthday card to Japan, I heat embossed this cute fox with white EP then wrote "Air Mail" with the white gel pen on the envelope.

I hope you liked my projects today using this new exclusive set!
Remember, you can only get this design at Simon Says Stamp while supplies last!

The whole Newton's Nook Designs Team was also able to play along with this new set!

Therm-O-Web Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holiday Release

Saturday, September 22, 2018

Hello, lovelies!
So last week, I received this Email from Julia at Therm-O-Web asking me if I'd like to make a few projects with some of their new Holiday Release! Well, of course, I said YES! Ever since the Newton's Nook Designs and Therm-O-Web collaboration (click HERE to see my post!), foiling has become one of my favorite techniques to use ;-) I was beyond thrilled to open the happy mail from them!

Not the most flattering looking photo (SORRY!) but you can see what they sent me 💙 Isn't this simply beautiful!? 😍 Thank you so very much, Therm-O-Web!

Okay, here is my first project using the new Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holly Jolly Set ;-)

Therm-O-Web Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holly Jolly Set - Naki Rager

I am not ready for Christmas personally {LOL} but this beautiful new set certainly inspired me!
(I am not a great photographer, and photographing shiny things is even more difficult! So I apologize for this "meh😑" photo...)

Therm-O-Web Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holly Jolly Set - Naki Rager

I should have taken some "making of" pictures! These Foil-Mates Detail Sheets are really quite clever and the results you get is simply gorgeous like these poinsettias! HERE is the video by Gina K. demonstrating the products if you want to see how fun and easy it is! I stamped the poinsettia image from the Holly Jolly Stamp Set onto the outline image on the Detail Sheet with Distress Ink Candied Apple (I like that slightly faded red just like the real poinsettias), die cut them using the Coordinating Die, and foiled them with the Gina K. Designs Gold Sequins Fancy Foil. I LOVE how it reflects different colors other than gold!

Therm-O-Web Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holly Jolly Set - Naki Rager

Isn't this such a sweet little image!? This was also included in the Holly Jolly Detail Sheets so I just had to ink it up and foil it using the same process as the poinsettias.

Therm-O-Web Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holly Jolly Set - Naki Rager

I wanted to make a shaker, but instead of using the plain acetate sheet for it, I used this toner sheet that was foiled with the Gina K. Designs Fancy Foil Jelly Bean Green. I LOVE this gorgeous yellow-green color 💚

Therm-O-Web Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holly Jolly Set - Naki Rager

I thought foiling the sentiment with this beautiful Gina K. Designs Fancy Foil Turquoise Sea would add a nice contrast to this red/green/gold card ;-)

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
I'll be back with more projects using the new Therm-O-Web Gina K. Designs StampnFoil Holiday Release

Newton's Nook Designs September Release Day 4

Thursday, September 13, 2018

Hello, lovelies!
It is time for the Newton's Nook Designs September Release!
All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 14th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
So today is day 4 of the reveal and we're showcasing the Slothy Coffee and Tea-Rex Mini Stamp Sets along with the Coordinating Die Set, AND the Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set!

How cute is this little sloth in a coffee mug!?
I really do love these fun mini stamps, too 💚

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this guy! "Tea-Rex"...{LOL}
It totally cracks me up every time I see him!

I LOVE sentiments sets!
And "Thanks" is totally versatile!
Okay, here I go...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Slothy Coffee Set - Naki Rager

I went with super CAS with this cutie 💗

Newton's Nook Designs Slothy Coffee Set - Naki Rager

This cutie was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on watercolor paper and watercolored, then die cut using the coordinating die. Doesn't he absolutely adorable in his sparkly pink ombre mug!?

Newton's Nook Designs Tea-Rex Set - Naki Rager

Seriously, this guy cracks me up every time! 😆
This guy is actually Japanese (I don't know if T-Rexes lived in Japan tho...LOL), or maybe he's visiting Japan.

Newton's Nook Designs Tea-Rex Set - Naki Rager

So you ask why is he Japanese? Because he is drinking Green Tea {LOL}
Okay, he doesn't need to be Japanese to drink green tea,, I just wanted to use one of these origamis with beautiful patterns that my lovely friend Nina gave me {LOL} Anyhoo, my Tea-Rex was stamped and watercolored then die cut using the coordinating die. When I picked this beautiful orange with gold origami, I decided to match his mug and you know, I absolutely completely suck at coloring with dark colors! So I had to fussy cut him to get rid of the mess I made outside the lines...😝

Newton's Nook Designs Tea-Rex Set - Naki Rager

"Tea-Rex" Gosh, this is so funny...{LOL}
It was heat embossed with black EP on vellum and was trimmed down, then I prettied it up with these beautiful cherry blossom stickers that my mom sent me years ago.

Newton's Nook Designs Thankful Thoughts Set - Naki Rager

The Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set is a must-have!
The whole set is sentiments so obviously, they can be paired with any other NND sets your creative heart desires 💙 I paired with the Tree Rings Stencil, which was heat embossed with brown and white on Kraft cardstock. Before mounting this beautiful tree trunk, I tore the cardstock off around the trunk on the top so that the basecard can peek out. I just LOVE this espresso and kraft together! 💗

Newton's Nook Designs Thankful Thoughts Set - Naki Rager

I used 3 of the sentiments from the set, they were all heat embossed with Pool Party EP on off-white cardstock. This one was fussy cut and placed on this leaf, which was die cut using the Autumn Leaves Die Set.

Newton's Nook Designs Thankful Thoughts Set - Naki Rager

"Thankful" was also fussy cut and placed on a couple leaves.
"This isn't..." sentiment was trimmed down and mounted on top of all these different ribbons. I love this look, especially for fall cards. Not only it adds different textures, but it is pretty 💗

Newton's Nook Designs September Release Day 3

Wednesday, September 12, 2018

Hello, lovelies!
It is time for the Newton's Nook Designs September Release!
All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 14th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
So today is day 3 of the reveal and we're showcasing the Harvest Tails Stamp Set along with the Coordinating Die Set!

How cute is this set with all these different forest critters!? 💛
Here I go...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Harvest Tails Set - Naki Rager

For this sweet little Bambi, I wanted a soft background.
I trimmed the watercolor paper to 4-1/2" x 5-1/2" then die cut it using the Land Border Die, and sponged them separately to create sky and ground. All I had to do was put them back together like big puzzle pieces ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Harvest Tails Set - Naki Rager

My sweet Bambi was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on watercolor paper, watercolored, and die cut using the coordinating die set. Before popping her on, I heat embossed the sentiment with Copper EP, then I used the new Pumpkin Patch Stencil to add one big glittery pumpkin.

Newton's Nook Designs Harvest Tails Set - Naki Rager

My second card is with these adorable raccoon and fox friends ;-)
Yes, I colored all the images from the set without any designs in my head, they're just so stinkin' cute, I wanted to have a little fun! So this card was put together fairly quickly (for me, at least...LOL).

Newton's Nook Designs Harvest Tails Set - Naki Rager

I think Mr.Raccoon was very excited about all these fruit and veggie, he dove right into the crate {Hee Hee} What a cutie 💛

Newton's Nook Designs Harvest Tails Set - Naki Rager

Then we have this beautiful, sassy Miss. Roxey Foxey with her big pumpkin!
I know you're not supposed to pick a favorite but I must admit, Jen's little fox is my second favorite 💙 Obviously, Newton is my #1 man ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Harvest Tails Set - Naki Rager

I picked a couple of patterned papers to whip up this quick card. The orange paper was die cut using the Land Border Die Set, and my fluffy, puffy cloud was die cut using the Sky Border Die Set.

Newton's Nook Designs Harvest Tails Set - Naki Rager

I couldn't leave this little dude out so I made a super CAS card with him ;-)
I die cut that stitched heart using the Darling Hearts Die Set (this mighty little die set is a must-have if you don't own one yet! I use this set ALL. THE. TIME. !!!) and heat embossed the sentiment with white EP. I was going to stamp the Acorn image all over but instead, I splattered some copper ink.

Newton's Nook Designs Harvest Tails Set - Naki Rager

I have this little chipmunk in my backyard (not sure if I keep seeing the same one or there are more than one) and my kids and cats LOVE to watch him! So this is him, getting ready for winter collecting acorns ;-) His face is so sweet, he looks like he is nuts about someone...or some nuts!?
