Frantic Stamper Winter Release

Tuesday, October 31, 2017

Hello, lovelies!
Happy Halloween to those who celebrate it!
My kids can hardly wait to go trick or treating tonight, and I'm ever so patiently waiting to see them in their costumes!
Anyway, I have one more project with the Frantic Stamper Holiday Release today ;-)

I LOVE kraft with white, especially when I make winter cards :-)

This beautiful snowflake die is called Alpine Snow Flake (10337), I die cut once out of my front panel to create a window, then another one from white cardstock. I added mint sequins and clear bead seeds inside, then adhered the white snowflake on the window sheet, then applied clear glitter pen. It got a bit messy though...{oops}

I die cut the Elegant Winter from white and mint cardstock, and mounted them on top of each other slightly off so the colors show. I heat embossed the wishes on mint and popped it on with foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 429

Sunday, October 29, 2017

Hello, my lovelies!
This week, Newton's Nook Design is sponsoring the fun and awesome Cupcake Inspirations Challenge! I've missed the CIC, their fabulous color and fun theme challenges inspired me every week when I was on their DT! I wish I could make time to play along but man! why do kids take so much of your time and attention!!? {LOL}

This week is a color challenge, and look at these beautiful fall colors!
Of course the cute pumpkin cupcake image is fun and so inspiring as well ;-)
Alright, here is my take...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Fox Hollow Set - Naki Rager

We all know that Newton's Nook Designs has a huge selection of cute and beautiful stamp sets, so as I always do, I looked through my collection and the Fox Hollow set stopped me! This is still one of my favorite sets! (well, to be honest, all of them are my favorites...LOL)

Newton's Nook Designs Fox Hollow Set - Naki Rager

I picked this adorable fox couple, and I wanted some pumpkins too so I borrowed those pumpkins from the Fall-Ing For You set. I stamped them on each side of my front panel with Antique Linen Distress Ink and watercolored them with shades of oranges and greens. Then I sponged the bottom of the panel with brown, and the other part with light blue. This beautiful fox couple was stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper and also colored with the challenge colors. I die cut it with the coordinating die and popped it on with foam tape.

Newton's Nook Designs Fall-ing For You Set - Naki Rager

Another reason I borrowed the pumpkins from the FALL-Ling For You set was this beautiful sentiment! I heat embossed it with dark brown and copper embossing powder, don't these rich colors look beautiful against my light blue background!? I added some copper sequins around it for more rich, fall color and sparkle ;-)

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Make sure to head over to the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog and play along for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Newton's Nook Designs Shop from Jen!

Newton's Nook Designs

Wednesday, October 25, 2017

Hello, lovelies! Happy hump day!
I am up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today with another Christmas card with the new release ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Santa Paws Newton Set - Naki Rager

This was actually my second card with the Santa Paws Newton Set for the 4th reveal day last week! I had everything colored and die cut, but never got to assemble it!

Newton's Nook Designs Santa Paws Newton Set - Naki Rager

This cute but very busy Santa Paws is almost ready to deliver the toys to children all over the world! (Man, what a job! LOL) Santa's little helper, the little present, and Santa Paws were heat embossed with tan embossing powder on watercolor paper and colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor set. The presents were colored with this super cheap shimmery watercolor set that I bought from Amazon, you know like those pretty foil wrapping papers! I also colored the fluffy parts of their hats and suit with the shimmery ivory. They were die cut with the coordinating die and popped on with foam tape.  The background was sponged with the Versacolor light blue ink, which is also shimmery, then I used the Snowfall Stencil from the new release with the Ranger Multi Medium Matte to give icy looking snowflakes, aren't they pretty!?

Newton's Nook Designs Santa Paws Newton Set - Naki Rager

This cute little sign was heat embossed with silver embossing powder on watercolor paper, the base was colored with the same yellow as Santa's belt buckle, and the pole was colored with the same teal as the hats and suit, and white Kuretake Gansai Tambi Starry Color. This shimmery sign, which was die cut with the coordinating die, is pointing to Santa's little house and his tree from the Snow Globe Scenes Set, which was stamped directly on the front panel and no-line watercolored to give a distanced look.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!

Oh.My.Gosh.!!!
Have you ever seen any set this adorable!!?
And the name of this set is Naughty or Mice, how cute is that!!?

And when you thought that the Naughty or Mice set was cute, look at this one!!! Newton is the cutest little Santa Paws ever!!!

Here go my cards...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Naughty or Mice Set - Naki Rager

I could hardly wait to color these little cuties!
I didn't want anything fancy for this little guy, whimsical with no-line coloring with soft background seemed perfect ;-) And I thought layers of winter patterned papers wouldn't disturb the cuteness, also added some sequins to give a magical feel ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Naughty or Mice Set - Naki Rager

I stamped him with Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink on watercolor paper and watercolored with Distress Oxide Inks and Zig Clean Color Real Brush set. Isn't he the sweetest!? ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Naughty or Mice Set - Naki Rager

I had to make another one so I could use the rest of the mice in the set ;-)
I didn't get to fit the one with the cheese but got to squeeze these 3 guys!

Newton's Nook Designs Naughty or Mice Set - Naki Rager

I stamped them with Ranger Archival Black Ink on watercolor paper and watercolored them with Distress Oxide Ink, also used gel pens for details. I heat embossed the sentiment in between them, almost like they're asking you whether or not you've been naughty or mice ;-) {giggle}

Newton's Nook Designs Santa Paws Newton Set - Naki Rager

Here's one with the Santa Paws Newton set ;-)
This set screamed no-line coloring and sponged background to me as well!
I borrowed one of the trees from the Festive Forest set, I thought Santa Paws and his cute little helpers could use a little help getting in the mood while going through the naughty or nice list ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Santa Paws Newton Set - Naki Rager

Oh boy, did I enjoy coloring this cutest image of Newton!?
As always, I stamped it with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper, watercolored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush set, and die cut with the coordinating dies. I also added another helper, I just love these little guys! SO CUTE 💖
I colored the list and everyone's hats distressed, which I had so much fun doing ;-) The  background was sponged with warm colors like there's a fireplace keeping them cozy ;-) I am so very happy with how this one turned out!

I started working on another card, but I ran out of time :-(
I guess you'll get to see it next week on the NND blog!

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release Day 3

Wednesday, October 18, 2017

Hello, my lovelies!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release!
All the new goodies will be available for purchase this Friday the 20th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
Today is day 3, and we're revealing 2 more fabulous sets ;-)

Can I just say, fabulouuuus!!!

Of course, the coordinating die set ;-)
It can also be stand-alone die, it's like buy 1 get 1 free!!!

Who doesn't love Santa's reindeers!?
This is so fu! not to mention all the different fonts Jen used!
Absolutely amazing!

Okay, here are my cards...;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Stylish Stockings Set - Naki Rager

Houndstooth stockings!? Now how fabulous is that!!?
The background was sponged with blue and gray then splattered some water, you know, my usual style ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Stylish Stockings Set - Naki Rager

The stockings were heat embossed with light gray on white cardstock and die cut. The topper, heel, and toes were die cut from kraft cardstock. I tied linen twine on pairs of pom poms and popped them on with glue dots. And I die cut the branch from Core'dination gray cardstock with the What A Hoot die set then sanded it a little. I "hang" my stocking on the branch with foam tape.

Newton's Nook Designs Stylish Stockings Set - Naki Rager

I made another card with the Stylish Stockings set ;-)
I thought the fuzzy felt and sparkly glimmer would make an interesting texture combo!

Newton's Nook Designs Stylish Stockings Set - Naki Rager

So I had to die cut one from felt, so fuzzy and cozy!
Rather than adhering the topper, heel, and toes with glue, I stitched them on with gold thread. A red twine adds a splash of color and a little bell adds so much fun ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Stylish Stockings Set - Naki Rager

This background was made with the Sentiments of the Season stamp set and the Snowfall Stencil that were revealed earlier this week. I stamped a bunch of sentiments with Antique Linen Distress oxide ink, and used the Nuvo Glimmer Paste and the Snowfall Stencil to add these beautiful sparkly snowflakes all over the panel ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Reindeer Roll Call Set - Naki Rager

Well, apparently, I am loving white embossing powder for these holiday cards if you haven't noticed...{LOL} It's so pretty against my blue background anyway, isn't it!? ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Reindeer Roll Call Set - Naki Rager

Can you picture the super sparkly glitter mess I was in!? {LOL} It was totally worth it though, look at my silver reindeer prancing across the card!

I'm not ready for Christmas yet, I need to enjoy Halloween first!
But when I was making this card, all I could hear was the reindeer song from the classic Rudolph movie! {giggle}

Tuesday, October 17, 2017

Hello, lovelies!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release! All the new holiday goodies will be available for purchase this Friday the 20th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
On day 2, we are showcasing the Snow Globe Scenes set along with the coordinating die set, AND Snow Globe Shaker Die set!

Aren't these incredibly, amazingly FUN!!?
They give me soooo many ideas!!!

Newton's Nook Designs Snow Globe Scene Set - Naki Rager

Here is my first card, I think I was going for sort of a vintage look ;-)
I sponged the background with yellow to give some warmth, plus it makes the sentiment stamped with gray ink really pop!

Newton's Nook Designs Snow Globe Scene Set - Naki Rager

I die cut the globe out of the front panel, stamped and colored the trees and snowman, heat embossed some snowflakes on the globe piece, added snow with the snowmaker marker, and popped it back in the panel. A little linen twine and a bell were placed on the base, and one more sentiment on the bottom complete the whole look ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Snow Globe Scene Set - Naki Rager

My second card is a shaker ;-)
The Snow Globe Shaker die set gives you everything you need to make a shaker, even a couple of sentiment dies! Plus, NND is going to carry acetate sheets and foam sheets to go with these sets starting this Friday, isn't that awesome!? ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs Snow Globe Scene Set - Naki Rager

I LOVE this little house image, so adorable 💖
It was heat embossed with white on watercolor paper, colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush set, and added some shiny snow with glossy white Nuvo crystal drops. I also die cut some of the snowflakes to put inside the shaker with the sequins, and some for the front panel.

Frantic Stamper Winter Release

Tuesday, October 17, 2017

Hello, lovelies!
I am back with more of the Frantic Stamper Holiday Release today!

I used 2 of the new die sets, Home For The Holiday die (10323) and Christmas House die (10320).

This amazing house die comes with so many detailed pieces to create the house just the way you want, isn't it so much fun!? It even comes with that tree! I die cut the lights,  chopped it up, and decorate the tree ;-) I actually made a shaker, but I put black behind the house so you can't really see...{OOPS! LOL}

I just had to pair this lovely sentiment die with this house! ;-)
Wouldn't it be perfect to send this to a loved one who lives far?

Thank you so much for stopping by!
hope you enjoyed it!

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release Day 1

Monday, October 16, 2017

Hello, lovelies!
Today kicks off the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release!
All the new fabulous Holiday goodies will be available for purchase this Friday the 20th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
On day 1, we are revealing a few products! So exciting, right!?
Here they go...;-)

Did you just squeal!?
I know you did...so did I when I first saw it!!!
This is called "All Aboard for Christmas", so cute!

This one is called "Sentiment of the Season".
A sentiment set is always great to have, especially for holidays!
On top of that, just look at these gorgeous writings!!!

I am really really happy to see this beautiful "Snowfall Stencil"!
I have a feeling you will see me use this a lot...;-)

AAAAAND this absolutely bueatiful "Holiday Foliage Stencil"!
Jen's killing me with her amazing stencils!!! ;-D

Alright, let's get to my projects with these beauties!

Newton's Nook Designs All Aboard for Christmas Set - Naki Rager

Choo Choo!
Santa is ready for Christmas with his helpers and presents on his train!
All the images used were heat embossed with white on watercolor paper, water colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Set, then die cut with the coordinating dies.

Newton's Nook Designs All Aboard for Christmas Set - Naki Rager

I used the same colors for their hats and presents so that the whole card looks more coordinated ;-)
When everyone was colored, I added glossy white Nuvo drops on the fluffy parts of the hats for some sparkle and dimension ;-)

Newton's Nook Designs All Aboard for Christmas Set - Naki Rager

Here are the fox and pup with their presents ;-)
Aren't they just adorable!!?
I also added gold Nuvo drops on the little ornaments on the tree.

Newton's Nook Designs All Aboard for Christmas Set - Naki Rager

I used this patterned paper as my base, which was trimmed down to 10"x3-1/2".
I know this is a bit weird, but this card opens backward... It was the only way to fit everyone (because I just had to use them all, all so stinkin' cute!!!) and not make the card gigantic! {LOL} I'll give this one to my twin boy Kai anyway, he won't care which way it opens! He LOVES Choo Choos, it's just perfect for my little man 💖

Newton's Nook Designs Sentiments Of The Season Set - Naki Rager

Here is a card with the Sentiments of The Season set and Holiday Foliage Stencil.
If you like to use stencils with embossing paste like I do, this would be so pretty and fun to mass produce and mail out for holiday, don't you think!?

Newton's Nook Designs Sentiments Of The Season Set - Naki Rager

I heat embossed the sentiment with gold on vellum and fussy cut it.
I pulled out one of my favorites, Pines & Holly Die set, die cut the pine from shimmery white cardstock, and holly from watercolor paper and watercolored them. It needed a pop of color so I made a little bow with red ribbon, and mounted all the pieces on top of some gold thread. It needed more red, and this shiny red and white striped washi tape was just perfect ;-)
