Hello lovelies!
Today I am playing along with the Sparkle and Shine Challenge!
Such a lovely bedroom!
Here is my take...
I went crazy with my big sequins!
These Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh are all sold out every time I check, but finally got some! Yay :-D
Isn't this faceted star just amazing!?
It's one of the new release beauties over at Winnie and Walter, and I just had to have it! And it was just perfect for this card! I die cut my star in the Silver Glitter Paper, then mounted on the Tip Top Taupe solid star. It was inspired by the wall color and those beautiful wall decors ;-)
So this whole card was inspired by the beautiful bed in the photo. I chose Very Vanilla as my base just like the sheets, then a snippet of lace as the crochet blanket, a pop of purple, and my favorite seam binding from Paper Sweetie! This one is called oat meal, I'm just so in love with how it is wrinkled and twisted... I cut about 18" of it and just threw it on my scallop base and sewed it down, it kind of looks like a messy linen!
I also threw some silver thread on top of my "bedding" then placed my beautiful star. Then as I said earlier, I just went nuts with the sequins!
My notes...
Paper: Very Vanilla, Tip Top Taupe, Rich Razzleberry DSP, Silver Glitter Paper
Accessory: 6mm and 8 mm Sparkling Clear Sequins, 4mm Silver Star Sequins (Pretty Pink Posh), Oat Meal Seam Binding (Paper Sweetie), 1" Crochet Lace Ribbon (Save on Craft)
Tool: True Mutifaceted Star and Essentials: Audrey Cutaways (Winnie and Walter), Sewing Machine
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
