Hi lovelies, Happy Sunday!
It is time for another Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!
This week's sponsor is Gerda Steiner Designs!
Isn't this so cute and cozy!!?
Here is my take...;-)
Those little stags on the cupcakes are so lovely and I thought about using a stag, but I saw this patterned paper and decided to go more of country chic!
This beautiful Tree Ring Background Stamp from Concored & 9th was just perfect! It was heat embossed in metallic copper on vellum then torn by hands. I also heat embossed those fabulous candles from the Eat Cake & Celebrate set in white, lightly water colored them, then die cut with the coordinating die. I added some sparkle with the Gansai Tabbi Starry Colors. The banner and the "make a" sentiment are from the Happy Day Set by Concored & 9th, the Wish die is from My Favorite Things.
Bright plaid and doily make this card so feminine! Isn't it just lovely!?
After assembling my card, it needed one more thing and I thought maybe a pretty little flower, but none of the flowers I had looked right. What do you think of this little branch from Altenew instead? I think it tones down the girly-ness...I like it!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Make sure you visit the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog, check out my teammates' beautiful plaid cards, then link up your projects to share with us!
Oooooh! I love the metallic embossing on the vellum! So very feminine with the doily layer. What a great birthday card, love the pastels!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card Naki! I'm totally loving the embossing over the vellum and that fun plaid. The doily gives it such a feminine touch too. Super sweet!!
ReplyDeleteLove this card, it's so pretty! Love all of the elements that you used!
