Hello, lovelies!
Wow! Today is already the last day of the Newton's Nook Designs June Release!
All the new products will be available for purchase tomorrow Friday the 22nd in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop! But wait! We have one more set for a sneak peek, ready!?
Our adorable Newton is such an adventurer and this time, he is a little chef!
I don't like cooking but am not a bad cook (if I do say so myself...LOL).
I wish I had a cute little helper like Newton!
Okay, here I go...;-)
I just couldn't resist this ADORABLE image with this ADORABLE sentiment 💗
If you're a cat lover (and I'm pretty sure you are since you love NND), you know how cats purr and push, sometimes even suckling on your clothing/blankets (my cats only do it if I have my fleece blanket over me). I absolutely ADORE that 💗
This cutest little chef was heat embossed with Tan EP on watercolor paper, watercolored, then die cut with the coordinating die. His chef hat was stamped with light gray on watercolor paper, some shadows and gingham to match his scarf were watercolored, then die cut with the coordinating die set.
This adorable card is actually another interactive card!
He doesn't move much, I just wanted him to knead the dough! So his bottom was secured in a place with a brad pierced through from the back of the patterned paper and a tiny piece of foam tape in between the patterned paper and the back of the chef.
(I tried to post a little video but couldn't figure out how to make it smaller so I'll post it on my Instagram! LOL)

My second card using the new Newton's Kitchen Set also has this adorable image with another adorable sentiment 💗 I think this card turned out to be very fun with a lot of patterns and bright colors paired with black & white!
This cutie was stamped on watercolor paper and no-line watercolored, but I wasn't happy with my color choice, I colored over it with colored pencils! I die cut him out using the coordinating die but again, wasn't happy with the color I used on the background either so decided to fussy cut around him but kept the stove top part and put it back in the place.
I had this patterned paper with this frame and it made a fun background, almost like wallpaper and a framed picture! And this adorable sentiment does deserve to be framed so here it is ;-)
