Hello, lovelies!
It is time for the Newton's Nook Designs June Release already!
All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 14th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
Today is the day three of the reveal and we are showcasing the Newton's Hangs Out and Newton's Picnic Stamp Sets along with their coordinating die sets ;-)
Newton is getting into lots of trouble this month!
First, he gets stuck on a tree, then he dives upside-down into the picnic basket, such a naughty boy! {LOL}
Okay, here is my take...;-)
Sorry, this is going to be very photo heavy!
My tuxedo brothers are 12 years old now and they'd rather just chill all day, but my 8 month-old-mischievous-kitty Bramble would TOTALLY get himself in this situation if he ever gets a chance! {LOL}
I colored this naughty kitty just like my Bramble, he is brown with black tiger-ish stripes all over his head and body, but most of his tail has light gray x black stripes, which looks like a Bengal's tail! (I LOVE it!) I always trace the eyes after I am all done coloring so that I wouldn't smudge them, and for this one, I messed it up! My quick fix was to try googlie eyes and holy macaroni! It gives him the totally-freaked-out-look and I LOVE it so much!!! {LOL}
I stamped only the tree part again to create a very tall one. Sorry, Bramble {LOL}
I heat embossed the "Hang in there" (so cute!), and die cut 3 clouds using the little cloud die that comes in the coordinating die set and popped them on my lightly colored sky.
My Bramble is mischievous and rambunxious just like any other kittens, and this image was something that he would totally do so there he is again {LOL}
I was really looking forward to coloring this adorable image and Jen did not disappoint me at all!
That little kitty bottom, some fruits, drinks, and snacks... I did some no-line watercoloring and I enjoyed it so very much 😇 It was die cut using the coordinating die, I just love how it cuts out little holes so that you can see the background through them! It gives an extra dimension ;-)
Such a simple but super fun sentiment, it was heat embossed with dark brown EP.
The little butterfly is also in the stamp/die sets. These teeny images can be used as embellishments like I did here, or part of sceneries.
I colored 2 of the dragonflies.
I love dragonflies, the name itself is so awesome!
But mostly I love their beautiful wings 💙
I created the background with Distress Oxide Inks then added 2 layers of grass, which were die cut using the grass die from the Land Borders Die Set. This is a pretty simple design so I added dimensions by layering the grass and popping the stamped images with foam tape. I like my sequins but for this card, I wanted to keep the soft, whimsical feel, what do you think???
{Would you like to win the “Newton Hangs Out” or the “Newton’s Picnic” Stamp Set?}
We will choose ONE lucky winner for each stamp set!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
We have one more day left so don't forget to come back!
Ohhh my goodness 💙💚💛
I am loving Newton's eyes, he is like "Hmmm... Now what..." Poor kitty!!!
