Happy Saturday, my lovelies!
Welcome to the Newton's Nook Designs Annual Sweet Treats Blog Hop!
The Newton's Nook Designs Team is hopping along today to share some great Sweet Treats - just in time for Valentine's day! Make sure you scroll down to the bottom of this post to see the whole list and hop along and comment for a chance to win!
Let's take a look at my treat then ;-)
I decorated this little peat moss pot, which idea is from our former DT member Jen Timko (click HERE to see her project) with a few NND products. First, I wrapped the pot with mint x white twine then added the pink pompom trim.
Here's a little photo of my supervisor Emrys fixing I don't know what...LOL
These adorable hearts with Valentine's Day messages were created using the Candy Heart Stamp set and its coordinating Candy Heart Die Set.
There are 8 little messages in the set so I decided to use them all ;-)
As you can see, I simply die cut the hearts then heat embossed the messages with white EP.
They were all tucked in under the twine, and secured with glue dots as well.
This stitched heart was die cut using the Darling Hearts Die Set, and the XOXO was die cut using the Essential Alphabet Die Set. It was stapled onto the paper straw with rose gold staples.
This might be a bit corny and childish but I thought it'd be cute to add some "love tickets" to the treats ;-) These little tickets were die cut from the same colored cardstock as the candy hearts using the ticket die from the Framework Die Set. Then I wrote some love/Valentine's related "activities" with a white gel pen.
I hope my treat was sweet enough for you!
You can do the twine and candy hearts decoration on a brown bag or a mason jar or anything you can think of!
