Hi there! I am playing my favorite challenges, Pals Paper Arts and Freshly Made Sketches:-)
I like when I get a lot of help especially I haven't been in a stamping mood lately...
Because these colors are all quiet, I thought they could use a little help from my new obsession, the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad. Those snowflakes were daubed with the Glimmer Ink, it just gave the right amount of shimmer I wanted as the background.
So I captured some of the snowflakes in my jar:-) They were also daubed with the Glimmer Ink. The jar was popped on with a small piece of the Stampin' Dimensionals hidden behind the Tiny Tag.
I chose this DSP because the designs on it look like snowflakes too. And I made sure it didn't overwhelm my shimmer-glimmer snowflakes, both on the background and in the jar:-) I think this card turned out better than I pictured in my head...what do you think?

ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing card! I love how you did the jar with acetate. The watermark glimmer ink is a perfect touch. And I agree, PPA and FMS are my favorites, too! Thanks for playing along with my sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
