Another Challenge

Saturday, March 7, 2015

Hi friends!
So here is another challenge that my little challenge patrol Nina Dee sent me.

I just love this photo!
I've been pinning a lot of pretty wrapping photos on Pinterest, and I just get so excited when I see a pretty one!

I got 2 ideas, and here is one of them.
If you look at the inspirational photo, you see the brown treat bag with white polka dots on the right. I re-created that by heat embossing Distressed Dots in white, on Crumb Cake cardstock.

I love that orange and gold ribbon on the bottom in the inspirational photo! So bright and fun! I made one with one of my favorite tools from the Occasions Catalog, Bow Builder Punch, but it was so small, it kind of looked sad...hahaha
Nina always helps me with craft ideas, and when I shared my card with her and told her that I don't like the small bow, she sent me a couple of links that show how to make a bow with the Envelope Punch Board.  I think it looks a little boxy but the bigger size totally worked!

I was quick and easy, but a lot of fun to make!
And I am very pleased with how it turned out!

My notes...

Stamp: Distressed Dots (Retired)
Paper: Crumb Cake, Tangelo Twist, Gold Glimmer Paper
Ink: Versamark
Accessory: Tea Lace Paper Doily, 1/8" Gold Ribbon, Lost Lagoon 3/8" Satin Stitched Ribbon

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
