Hello, lovelies!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs November Release!
All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 24th, PLUS there will be black Friday sale as well in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop! WOW!
Today is the final day of the reveal and we're showcasing 2 adorable set along with their
coordinating die sets ;-)
This one is called Llama Delivery ;-)
Llamas have been trending a little while now, and you see them everywhere! I even saw these Christmas outfits for little girls with cute llamas! (I must get them for my girls! LOL)
This one is called Newton's Candy Cane ;-)
Newton is so stinkin' cute with his giant candy cane, isn't he!?
Alright, here are my takes...;-)
I simply ADORE this cute little llama 💙
She is also a happy llama, she's humming fa-la-la 🎶
She is also a happy llama, she's humming fa-la-la 🎶
She was stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper, watercolored, and die cut with the coordinating die. I popped on this cutie on my front panel, which was sponged with lime green, some water was splattered, and the music note image was stamped over and over.
I made another card with this cute llama, but for this one, she has a lot more presents stacked up on her back! This long card measures 3-1/4"x 7-1/4"! After stamping the presents on top of each other, I also stamped a single present that comes with the set on the very top, and traced the ribbon with the black Nuvo crustal drop and made it really messy! {UGH!}
I colored this one chocolate brown and gave her a little red flower on her head ;-)
I used the light blue Nuvo crystal drop on her ankles, I think they look so cute!
My first card with the Newton's Candy Cane set is a shaker!
I stamped and colored the 2 candies from the set with glimmer watercolor, and die cut them with the coordinating dies. Along with the gold, silver, and clear star confetti, they went under the acetate safely ;-) The sentiment was split into two and heat embossed with gold on vellum, and die cut with one of the flags from the Frames and Flags Die Set.
My kitty was heat embossed with white embossing powder on watercolor paper, watercolored, and die cut with the coordinating die. I decided to color this little guy like a panda but with brown. I love those panda kitties that you see on Pinterest!
I am obsessing with these mints, and I don't even like them that much! {LOL}
Since I like them so much, I just had to do something with them and this is what I came up with, a mint wreath! That sentiment is super sweet, too ;-)
So I actually heat embossed all these mints with Enchanted Gold embossing powder (which is very light) on mint cardstock, but it turned out looking tone-on-tone like I used clear embossing powder! I colored some of the swirls with white gel pen, die cut them all with the coordinating die, and mounted them one by one on a circle that I die cut. I placed my sweet wreath on a snippet of gold thread, popped on my vellum sentiment, and sprinkled a few gold star confetti ;-)
