Hello, lovelies!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs February Release!
All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 16th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
Today is day 2 of the reveal and we're showcasing the Bitty Bunnies Set along with the coordinating die set ;-)
EEEEEEEEEK!
How adorable are these bunnies!?
I'm totally in love with their little cotton tails 💗
Okay, here is my take ;-)
My adorable Easter colored bunnies are playing hide and seek in the fields 💗
I layered grass borders with foam tape to add dimensions so that my bunnies can hide ;-) The first 2 layers were die cut with the Land Borders Die, and I also added vellum cloud die cut with the Sky Border Die.
Well, these cuties tried to hide but forgot about their cute little cotton tails! {Hee Hee 😝} The blue bunny even has a butterfly sitting on his tail, oh, boy! They were all stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper, water colored, then die cut with the coordinating die set.
This yellow bunny is dressed up with a little flower in her head 🌼
She must have picked one of the flowers from the fields ;-)
It would have been mean if I didn't color this little guy so here goes my second card ;-)
Another spring scenery but different details. I used the Land Borders Die set again, but this time, it was die cut from teal vellum, then it was sewen.
I colored this cutie with yellow-ish green first, but it was a bit too much {LOL}
So I stamped him again with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor and colored him with the same color. I added some shadows with Zig Clean Color Real Brush in oatmeal.
I also stamped and colored several flowers and die cut them all with the coordinating dies. This is another cute sentiment 💗 it was heat embossed with light blue but it looks gray in my photos! (gosh, I wish I could take better photos!)
After sponging the sky with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink, I used the Cloudy SKy Stencil and Varsamark so that they can be heat embossed with clear embossing powder. No, they're not easy to see in person either, they need to catch some lights but that's exactly what I wanted!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
We have 2 more adorable sets to reveal so make sure to come back!
