Hello, lovelies!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs August Release!
All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 17th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
Today is day 2 of the reveal and we're making dog lovers very happy with this new Fabulous Frenchie Set along with the coordinating die set 💗
I am a total crazy cat lady but that does not mean I don't like dogs!
We had 2 sister German Shepherds and loved them dearly, I just didn't care for the daily walk {LOL}
These little guys are absolutely adorable though!
Okay, here is my take...;-)
Ooh-La-La 💗
I have NO CLUE if French Bulldogs are from France or not, but I simply couldn't resist it! {Hee Hee}
I adore those cards with painted scenery backgrounds and thought this would be a good one to try it out myself!
Not only this little guy is super adorable in his cute outfit, but this sentiment is absolutely priceless! 😆💗
I watercolored him and die cut using the coordinating die, but because of the painted background, I didn't like the white outline so decided to fussy cut.
I have Half-French cousins and their families in Paris but have NEVER visited them there! So I googled the Eiffel Tower images and very roughly watercolored this very famous scenery. This lovely Eiffel Tower image from the Newton Dreams of Paris Set (one of my first NND sets to purchase and still love it 💗) was heat embossed with the Distress EP Vintage Photo Rust Effect, I wanted an aged look ;-)
My second card with these little cuties is more simple but a lot of fun!
One of my hubby's buddies had this black and white French Bulldog and she was just so cute! I would play with her as long as she wanted, and boy! she had so much energy, I always got tired before she did! {LOL}
I am always more attracted to black/black and white animals like my tuxedo brother cats 💗, but when I hear French Bulldogs, I always think of ones with markings just like this little guy here! He was stamped with light gray ink on watercolor paper, watercolored, and die cut using the coordinating die. He was popped on with foam tape next to this super cute sentiment 💗 Oh, my gosh, his face 💗💗💗
I must admit, I don't like any of the masking techniques...I pretty much suck at them! {LOL}
But I wanted to give him balloons, lots and lots of them too! So I die cut a couple of them from copy paper (cardstock is so thick, I'd have too much gap between each image!) for masking, and just started stamping a whole bunch of them! I purposely didn't ink up the string part after the front row because I thought they might look messy!
{Would you like to win the “fabulous Frenchies” Stamp Set?}
