Hello, lovelies!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs August Release!
All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 17th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
Today is day 3 of the reveal, I hope you're ready for some Halloween fun!
I LOVE Halloween, it is my favorite holiday of all! So I was super excited to play with the new Hoppy Halloween Set and Flying Bats Stencil! YES! Another stencil 😆💜
And HELLOOOOO!!!
I do love cute Halloween stuff but we have to add some creepiness, right!?
Okay, this stencil isn't really creepy at all, but it's super fun for sure! 😉
Okay, here is my take...;-)
I don't know what had gotten into me but this release was all about trying new/different styles/techniques!
I have always adored make-your-own-background-by-stamping-images-randomly and have tried many, many times, but they always turned out just looking messy!
With all these cute little candy images, I just HAD TO give it a try and HA! I was actually pretty happy with how this one turned out! I pretty much blindly stamped them all with Versamark on watercolor paper and surprised myself when I sprinkled white EP! {LOL} I did what I call "sloppy watercolor" on the whole panel and each candy and I simply love it!
I could have made a card without any bunnies, but how could I do that when they're this sweet!!?
I watercolored this mischievous guy digging into a Jack-O-Lantern filled with candies and fussy cut him out. I popped him on tilted with foam tape so it looks like he is tipping over the pumpkin!
I paired this cute bunny sitting in his Jack-O-Lantern with the Flying Bats Stencil ;-)
I foiled using this fun stencil on gray cardstock, aren't these shiny purple bats simply fabulous!?
Isn't her ADORABLE!?
He was stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper, watercolored, then die cut using the coordinating die set. I LOVE coloring pumpkins 💛 Is that kind of weird!? {LOL}
To finish up this card, I made my own sentiment using the Essential Alphabet Die Set, just LOVE this die set 💜 I die cut "BOO" from purple and black cardstock and layered them to give a bit of dimension.

"HOPPY" Halloween!?
