Hello my lovelies!
I am up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today!
Temperature is finally getting warmer and it feels more like spring outside, so I wanted to make a pretty, springy card!
Lots and lots of pretty spring colors!
This gorgeous flower wreath from the Happy Little Thoughts set was heat embossed with pastel yellow, water colored, and die cut with the coordinating die.
The adorable bunny from the Cottage Garden was heat embossed with white, water colored the negative parts like her ear, eye, flower, and the outline. She was also die cut with the coordinating die. Isn't she just lovely sitting inside the flower wreath!?
The front panel was die cut with the background die from Crumb Cake cardstock and mounted on my Crumb Cake Base. I did like the tone-on-tone look but I decided to add several leaves that were die cut from the patterned paper to repeat the green and the polka dots. I sewed vellum with polka dots, yellow vellum, and peach patterned paper with also polka dots for my pretty wreath and bunny to lay on. Instead of my usual sequins, I added a snippet of gold thread for a little bit of sparkle ;-)
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Such a beautiful card! I love the way you embossed the bunny in white! So pretty! And that wreath coordinates perfectly with him! Great spring card!
