Hi, lovelies!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs March Release!
All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 16th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
Today is day 2 of the reveal, and we're showcasing the Uplifting Wishes Stamp Set and the Balloon Shaker Die Set!
EEEEEEEEK!!!
Another shaker die set! Are you as excited as I am!!? 😆
And look at this lovely stamp set to go with the shaker, so fun and adorable 💗
Okay, here are my takes...;-)
So for my first project, I made my whole card a shaker!
I die cut this beautiful scallop frame from the Frames & Flags Die Set and placed a piece of Acetate Sheets on the back to create this big shaker window.
Seriously, who doesn't love balloons!?
I die cut this solid balloon from gold vellum then heat embossed this awesome sentiment with white embossing powder. I just LOVE this stamp set, I think all the sentiments are fun with or without the balloon die, and it will be one of the most versatile sets ever!
I simply ADORE these small balloons and party hats and confetti! How fun are they!!? I die cut a whole bunch of them from metallic copper foil paper (I didn't use the tiny pieces because I was afraid of them flipping over!) and piled them up on my base card along with a bunch of bead seeds and clear confetti in circle and star shapes. I also used the Bubbly Stencil with Nuvo Glimmer Paste on the base, do you see those sparkly circles!!? That's them ;-)
Here is my second card today! (sorry about the dark photos...)
Of course I had to make a balloon shaker!
I originally planned to have only one balloon, but I thought why only one!?
I started with die cutting a window with the solid balloon die from my front panel, then die cut the outline balloon from plum cardstock and Double Sided Adhesive Foam, and solid one again from the Acetate Sheets. I used the negative die cut piece as a stencil and sponged another balloon also.
I also sponged some adorable clouds on my base card with the Cloudy Sky Stencil, isn't it amazing how little things like these sponged clouds add so much to your design!? Jen's growing stencil line is simply awesome, I absolutely adore them 💗
This sentiment from the new Uplifting Wishes Set is absolutely adorable 💗, and this is what inspired me to come up with this design ;-) I'm telling you, this stamp set is so cute and so versatile, it is simply "a must have"! They'll look fabulous with the Balloon Shaker Die Set, or any other shapes or by themselves!
