Hello, lovelies!
Welcome to the Newton's Nook Designs May Release!
All the new products will be available for purchase this Friday the 18th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop! Woo Hoo!
Today is day 1 of the reveal and I just know you'll LOVE them!
Let's take a look at them ;-)
This new Framework Die Set is absolutely awesome!
Different shapes and different sizes, it's just fun and so versatile!
The first stamp set to reveal is this gorgeous Blooming Botanical Set 🌼
This is a large stamp just like the Company of Cats, Frozen Fellowship, or Woof Pack, which all fit inside the biggest frame from the new Framework Die Set and the Frames & Flags Die Set.
Alright, here is my take...;-)
Well, how could I not have had this gorgeous image inside the postage stamp frame when it fits perfectly!? And this reminded me of the forever stamps with flowers and the word love from the USPS!
I heat embossed the image with white embossing powder on watercolor paper, which was die cut with the frame die first. Watercoloring all these beautiful flowers was nothing but a joy! And wow, it was so therapeutic! Once it was all colored in, all it needed was this big, bold sentiment die cut right out of the panel. I added a couple layers of the sentiment first then popped the watercolored sentiment back on top.
So here's a little funny story...
I wanted to send my mom in Japan a mother's day card, and it usually takes a week for a delivery. It was already Wednesday so I rushed and mailed this very card, then realized later that day, I never took photos for my blog! So I only got to make one card with this gorgeous set 😢 AND I like to make at least 2 cards with each new set! bummer...
