Hello, lovelies!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs May Release!
Today is already the final day of the reveal, times flies even faster when you're having fun! All the new products will be available for purchase tomorrow Friday the 18th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
We are showcasing 2 overwhelmingly adorable sets, "Newton Loves Boxes" and "Newton's Donut" along with the coordinating die sets!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!
You have no idea how excited I was to see this fun set!
I'm a crazy cat lady and I just LOVE seeing them jump in any empty boxes!
And just look at all these adorable images 💗
OH.MY.GOODNESS.!!!
And we thought the Newton Loves Boxes Set was cute, look at this kitty 🍩💗
Alright, here we go!
Hee Hee 😆
I just couldn't resist it!!!
"If I fits, I sits" was all I could think of with this fun and cute set!
Look at this cutie trying to fit in this tiny box! I LOVE it 💗
I stamped him with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper and watercolored.
"you can do it" is so perfect with this image! It is simply cute and encouraging, who wouldn't want to receive a card such as this one!?
I used the Essential Alphabet Die Set to die cut the sentiment right from the front panel and just left the letters. Added a few copper star sequins for a bit of sparkle and done!
My second card with this new adorable set seems like there's a lot going on but actually quite simple ;-) I kind of played with the new Framework Die Set to show you how you fun these little frames are!
This image is so cute! and so cat! {LOL} They forget to tuck in their fluffy bottom a lot, don't they!? 😝 I stamped this guy with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper and watercolored as usual. Then it was die cut using the coordinating die, but trimmed off the outline with the scissors because I made a little boo-boo, and didn't like the color I used around the image! The marking of this kitty was inspired by our DT member, lovely, super talented Maria's cat ;-) She shared a photo of her fluffy kitty that looked just like this image and I just loved it!
I absolutely LOVE this sentiment!
I love it so much, it is framed and mounted in the dead center! {LOL}
It was heat embossed with metallic copper embossing powder but I must be doing something wrong, it lost its shininess after heat setting 😕

I borrowed some toys from the Newton's Antics set.
I wanted to make a point, don't even bother buying your cats expensive toys because we all know that they love boxes a lot better than them! {LOL} And apparently, so do kids...{LOL}
The adorable doughnut image gave me the idea for a shaker ;-)
Isn't this card simply yummy and so fun!?
Newton is just so cute no matter what he does, but oh, man! This is the cutest EVER and officially my favorite 💗 Okay, part of it is because of the doughnut, too...{LOL}
For this card, the image was stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper and watercolored then die cut with the coordinating die. The sprinkles were colored with gel pens, I thought that would give the shiny look that they have, also a teeny bit of dimension ;-)
I am so in love with this sentiment 💗 How stinkin' cute!!!
I heat embossed it with tea rose embossing powder on vellum, which was die cut with one of the flags from the Frames & Flags Die Set. Don't forget to check out all the pretty sequins, I used many different colors just like the sprinkles, yum 💗

NO one 'no line watercolors' like you! Lovely cards - I especially love the 'if I fits, I sits' sentiment, one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteI love Newton's boxes - our kitties all love boxes. My hubby likes Newton's Donuts better since he loves donuts .. almost as much as the kids love boxes!
ReplyDeleteThat saying is hilarious on the first card!! And I am blown away by your mad watercoloring skillz! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your shaker cards and the others you have created. So fun!
ReplyDeleteI read this whole post, and I was like "she gets it!" I'm so glad someone did an "If I fits, I sits" sentiment, because it really is perfect for that stamp. And the stamp with the rear end hanging out could be a snapshot of my cats on any given day. I also really like how you had spots on that cat that continued the pattern of the background paper. That works really well. And a donut shaker is genius. That is so playful and fun. Thanks for sharing all these great cards (and cat observations) with us! :D
ReplyDeleteyour coloring always leaves me in awe!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute. I like your coloring and the sentiments.
