Hello, lovelies!
Welcome back to the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release! All the new holiday goodies will be available for purchase this Friday the 20th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
On day 2, we are showcasing the Snow Globe Scenes set along with the coordinating die set, AND Snow Globe Shaker Die set!
Aren't these incredibly, amazingly FUN!!?
They give me soooo many ideas!!!
Here is my first card, I think I was going for sort of a vintage look ;-)
I sponged the background with yellow to give some warmth, plus it makes the sentiment stamped with gray ink really pop!
I die cut the globe out of the front panel, stamped and colored the trees and snowman, heat embossed some snowflakes on the globe piece, added snow with the snowmaker marker, and popped it back in the panel. A little linen twine and a bell were placed on the base, and one more sentiment on the bottom complete the whole look ;-)
My second card is a shaker ;-)
The Snow Globe Shaker die set gives you everything you need to make a shaker, even a couple of sentiment dies! Plus, NND is going to carry acetate sheets and foam sheets to go with these sets starting this Friday, isn't that awesome!? ;-)
I LOVE this little house image, so adorable 💖
It was heat embossed with white on watercolor paper, colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush set, and added some shiny snow with glossy white Nuvo crystal drops. I also die cut some of the snowflakes to put inside the shaker with the sequins, and some for the front panel.
