Hello, lovelies!
Today kicks off the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release!
All the new fabulous Holiday goodies will be available for purchase this Friday the 20th in the Newton's Nook Designs Shop!
On day 1, we are revealing a few products! So exciting, right!?
Here they go...;-)
Did you just squeal!?
I know you did...so did I when I first saw it!!!
This is called "All Aboard for Christmas", so cute!
This one is called "Sentiment of the Season".
A sentiment set is always great to have, especially for holidays!
On top of that, just look at these gorgeous writings!!!
I am really really happy to see this beautiful "Snowfall Stencil"!
I have a feeling you will see me use this a lot...;-)
AAAAAND this absolutely bueatiful "Holiday Foliage Stencil"!
Jen's killing me with her amazing stencils!!! ;-D
Alright, let's get to my projects with these beauties!
Choo Choo!
Santa is ready for Christmas with his helpers and presents on his train!
All the images used were heat embossed with white on watercolor paper, water colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Set, then die cut with the coordinating dies.
I used the same colors for their hats and presents so that the whole card looks more coordinated ;-)
When everyone was colored, I added glossy white Nuvo drops on the fluffy parts of the hats for some sparkle and dimension ;-)
Here are the fox and pup with their presents ;-)
Aren't they just adorable!!?
I also added gold Nuvo drops on the little ornaments on the tree.
I used this patterned paper as my base, which was trimmed down to 10"x3-1/2".
I know this is a bit weird, but this card opens backward... It was the only way to fit everyone (because I just had to use them all, all so stinkin' cute!!!) and not make the card gigantic! {LOL} I'll give this one to my twin boy Kai anyway, he won't care which way it opens! He LOVES Choo Choos, it's just perfect for my little man 💖
Here is a card with the Sentiments of The Season set and Holiday Foliage Stencil.
If you like to use stencils with embossing paste like I do, this would be so pretty and fun to mass produce and mail out for holiday, don't you think!?
I heat embossed the sentiment with gold on vellum and fussy cut it.
I pulled out one of my favorites, Pines & Holly Die set, die cut the pine from shimmery white cardstock, and holly from watercolor paper and watercolored them. It needed a pop of color so I made a little bow with red ribbon, and mounted all the pieces on top of some gold thread. It needed more red, and this shiny red and white striped washi tape was just perfect ;-)
{Would you like to win the “All Aboard for Christmas” or the “Sentiments of the Season” Stamp Set?}
