Hello, lovelies! Happy hump day!
I am up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today with another Christmas card with the new release ;-)
This was actually my second card with the Santa Paws Newton Set for the 4th reveal day last week! I had everything colored and die cut, but never got to assemble it!
This cute but very busy Santa Paws is almost ready to deliver the toys to children all over the world! (Man, what a job! LOL) Santa's little helper, the little present, and Santa Paws were heat embossed with tan embossing powder on watercolor paper and colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor set. The presents were colored with this super cheap shimmery watercolor set that I bought from Amazon, you know like those pretty foil wrapping papers! I also colored the fluffy parts of their hats and suit with the shimmery ivory. They were die cut with the coordinating die and popped on with foam tape. The background was sponged with the Versacolor light blue ink, which is also shimmery, then I used the Snowfall Stencil from the new release with the Ranger Multi Medium Matte to give icy looking snowflakes, aren't they pretty!?
This cute little sign was heat embossed with silver embossing powder on watercolor paper, the base was colored with the same yellow as Santa's belt buckle, and the pole was colored with the same teal as the hats and suit, and white Kuretake Gansai Tambi Starry Color. This shimmery sign, which was die cut with the coordinating die, is pointing to Santa's little house and his tree from the Snow Globe Scenes Set, which was stamped directly on the front panel and no-line watercolored to give a distanced look.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoyed it!
STUNNING card, Naki!
