First up is this darling Lemon Twist 🍋
I LOVE lemons! Lemons make any meals/deserts taste better, don't they!!?
Not to mention they smell lovely, they look pretty, and they even clean!!!
Woo Hoo!
We've got some new mini stamp sets and just look at this one here!!!
The Gull Friends Set is so puny and so cute 💗
WOW!
Another Newton set!
The Newton's Melon set is simply adorable, this is a must-have for certain!
And then, here is the Shrimp Cocktail set 😆🍹
These little shrimps holding little cocktail glasses are killing me!!!!!
Okay, here I go...;-)
First up is my sweet (or sour!!?) lemon card ;-)
Coloring this lemon was an absolute joy 🍋💛
Bright yellow just makes you so happy, doesn't it!!?
I'm not sure why but as soon as I saw this set, I wanted to pair this bright fruit with buffalo plaid.
I added a little strip of yellow cardstock and yellow EP to heat emboss this cheerful sentiment on a vellum ticket that was die cut with the little ticket die from the Framework Die Set, splashed a bit of light blue and I was done!
Here we have are the cutest little seagulls you've ever seen ;-)
While I was coloring these guys, all I could think about was
"mine! mine! mine!" 😝
After watercoloring and die cutting the image, I stamped the sentiment on this long skinny speech bubble, which was die cut using the Speech Bubbles Die Set.
These buddies are just hanging out on some logs by the ocean on this beautiful sunny day.
I used the new Clouds Edge Stencil to create the blue sky with puffy summer clouds, then popped on the ocean, which was die cut using the wavy die from the Sea Borders Die Set. I used this wavy patterned paper to add some fun to this pretty simple design.
This adorable image can be paired with so many other NND sets, it would be kind of silly not to get one! For today's card, I used him alone and he couldn't have been any cuter!
Have I mentioned I've totally, completely given up on alcohol based markers!? {LOL}
So this cutie was watercolored as all the other images ;-) My latest favorite is coloring kitties like my Bramble, he has such unique markings! This one is a bit different though, but he is still my muse!
Your beloved kitties (or pups or any other fur babies, or maybe they have feathers or scales!) certainly is one in a melon special, aren't they!!? That is exactly why I used the Sunscape Stencil to give this special kitty golden rays ;-) I even had confetti washi tape! But I needed to separate the confetti washi and the front panel because they both have a lot of white and kind of blended into each other. So I found this skinny washi tape that has solid pink and black & white stripes, which kind of pick up my kitty's markings. So I die cut the kitty shape from pink cardstock and tucked under the kitty to add a teeny tiny bit of pink also.
Last but not least, the Shrimp Cocktail set!
These guys simply crack.me.up.!!!!! {LOL}
These guys may be tiny, but that doesn't stop them from dressing up pretty and fancy!
They put on their sparkly red "dresses" and drinking fancy appletini ;-)
Seriously, stop!!! They are just so stinkin' cute 💗💗💗
This pun is the best pun EVER!!!
It cracks me up no matter how many times I see it!!!
Jen is such a clever girl, isn't she!!? {LOL}
I heat embossed it with gold EP on this blush vellum banner, which was die cut using one of the banner dies from the Frames & Flags Die Set.
Small images might be a bit tricky to work with, but don't stress it!
By creating a little shaker, the images are still the focal point but they don't look so small because a shaker doesn't steal their thunder! This shaker was made with layers of scalloped frames die cut using the Framework Die Set, and everything was mounted onto this simple but festive patterned paper and that is it!
