Hello, lovelies!

Happy July 4th to those in the US 🎆(this emoji is apparently fireworks...lol)

Do you have any fun plans today!? I'll be over at my in-law's (right next door 🏡) with my family for swimming and cook-out and fireworks! But before all that fun, I wanted to share my card that's on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today ;-)

It's not a July 4th card, I didn't realize it was the 4th today when I made this {LOL}

BUT it is a summer card ;-) 

This adorable pup is from the Dog Days of Summer Set and it is one of my faves especially this guy with ice cream cone 💙 I colored him with watercolor pencils then fussy cut it. 

This sentiment is from the new Say Woof Set that was just released last month! 

Doesn't it look like this was made to go with this image!?

This soft but fun background was created using the Bokeh Stencil Set.

I watercolored the bottom part of the panel with gray so that it looks like a driveway, then mounted my sweet pup. I watercolored a scrap watercolor paper with green then die cut it using the grass die from the Land Borders Die Set, and popped it on with foam tape. I love making summery cards, they're just so fun!
